    In 2018, Ford sold 909,330 F-Series pickups in the U.S. alone. In 2017, Americans purchased 896,764. And in 2016, U.S. car dealers sold 820,799.

    That's less than a quarter of the number of F150s Ford sells in a year.

    Good question! How about earplugs or sonic protection (to protect against loud noises), rolled up gauze if you have an ear infection, or (and yes this is Canada) ear muffs that actually are to keep your ears warm?

    The judge probably did not want to have to think too hard about any other implications. Leave it for another case. Keeps cops and judges employed.

    No worries about petrol stations since I can run an extension chord from literally any place I'm parked at.

    Haha. That will scale well.

    Back when I drove a plow I had a huge collection of extension cords from people who thought the same. No EVs in those days, just dumb people with block heaters.

    .....one day. No range issues. No worries about finding plugs or any need to even consider charge levels. No concerns about -35C affecting battery performance in the winter.

    About zero percent chance I would buy an EV anytime soon, but hey if you like them have at it. Variety is good.

    Still fully expect my next car to be a shiny new ICE powered one regardless. Not much for performance oriented hybrids in my price range. Yet.

    Well, speaking from Canada, I have bought black market booze in the past, but not recently. Still, I could get black market booze, cigarettes,and all sorts of drugs within 24 hours easily. Things like guns might take a few days and would entail more risk. Before we legalized MJ last fall it was trivial to find.

    I'm not saying there will be neighborhood bag pushers - it will be more like I said, online from Shenzhen. I just put some non-DOT approved light bulbs in my car recently (the horror!) The mail system can't stop everything that could possibly be illegal. Most of our Fentanyl epidemic comes from China FFS.

    Fact is, if I go to Superstore to buy bags, they are going to cost 5 or 10 bucks for a box that will last some finite amount of time. If I spend $50 on Alibaba, I'll have bags forever. There is much to be said for purchasing in bulk LOL.

    they are going to make the watermark "more detectable in noisy environments" without making it more detectable to the listener. There is already much discussion of how current watermarks are commonly audible in otherwise high fidelity music files.

    Of course, nobody is ever going to use Alexa for anything remotely related to hifi, but this is certainly not something we would want to see spread anywhere else.
