    But the war was not started because of the slavery, but because South refused to accept to be ruled by the federal government.... Funny, ain't? One good cause (slavery) was fought for, but another bad cause (central government) was the side effect....or the opposite more likely.

    It is a fable. If you see a guy running out of the special medical center, screaming: Black is Black and White is White, and you see some guys in white chasing him, then you could say Black is Gray, White is Gray, Google is NOT evil. And the end is near.

    You are not having the point. He is making comparison with the nuclear half-decay rate, which says in general the same, that your skill will have be decreased half in 2 years, and then another half after 2 more years, etc.... Here you could calculate when your skill would become worthless, if you have some math skill of course (which in general has a bigger half-decay period)

    unenforceable laws/rulings are worst than lack of law, or unenforced laws/rulings, as they are supposed to be follow the common sense and logic. You could have a rule forbidding you to blink, but how are you going to enforce it!!!! In any normal, especially British/UK/Canada court such a laws are pretty easy to drop or ignore, giving that the judge has common sense and knowledge of course. Btw, my favorite ruling is about not stopping at Red Light, which usually gives you a ticket, except if you made all the normal efforts to see the red light (if the red light is not visible, how could you be hold accountable for not seeing it?) or if some extraordinary event made to ignore the light (a big truck coming to you with a great speed for example). Common sense man, common sense...

    You are making the difference between statute and law, i suppose? Believe me, piracy is not forbidden by any statute, hence, any other law (read rule, recommendation) is simple rule, nothing more, nothing less.... If you still don't believe me, go to the library and read your "constitution" Magna Carta .

    Actually, you are wrong. The ISP's router does the magic for the outgoing traffic, but forbids the incoming traffic, so there is no way for your second magic to work. It was not like this some time ago, they (ISP) used to be more open and friendly to the end users. But they (ISP) also have a very good reason, the number of IPv4 is limited.

    Tell me that such a thing as direct p2p connection between two anonymous computers in the wild, and even web-browser, is simply said IMPOSSIBLE without a third party, which is managing the tunnel between them. I simply don't see how this could work. No, no and no.
