I've been seeing this equally clocked AMD's cost more than the intel part....AND in many checked if you compare the PR# of the AMD part to an intel running at that clock, the intel is cheaper...AMD is definatelky behind in this race, maybe permanently...They really need to push the chip harder if they want to even stay in the race, honestly if they could clock at the same speed as intel they might even have a superior chip, but they would never keep the price in range it seems.

ADD to the Terms Of Service that Windows machines must be part of a domain. Create a domain to which you have the administrative control. Then deploy SMS. You now have control to send blanket upgrades and patches to all the machines. Periodically scan for machines that are not on the Domain, contact the offender, if they don't respond, pull the Plug on the network connection(actually if you have good switches all you really have to do is tell the port not to pass traffic.

That grand combining of game companies that brought Sierra, Dynamix, Blizzard, etc under one house almost cost us the whole thing....Sierra is a shell of it former self, Blizzard somehow managed to survive pretty much intact, thank god...

We need the small time developer they are the ones that drive the industry, by plowing new ground instead of plowing under to grow commodity products on a strict schedule. The larger game companies need to realize that with careful investment in(and not control of) and patience with the right game houses they can make a boatload of cash when the next big idea in games comes out...right now the industry despite some great games is rather stagnant...

The last time an actual deserving movie that the movie going public actually enjoyed, got nominated for anything was the orignal "Star Wars"...I'm sorry, but best picture, and best actor, etc should have at least something to do with the films appeal to the masses. If the general public from 9 to 90, Male, Female, White, Black, Yellow, Red, Green whatever isn't interested its not a good film, and doesn't deserve awards. The truth of the matter is all these awards are about self-indulence and self congratulations for the Holloywood in crowd. Its the equivilent of masterbation...if you don't play with the in crowd and join the jerk circle you don't get the big nominations. The "Lord of the Rings" Movies for the most part look and feel exactly like the books always appeared in my head...that should count for something, however it doesn't because of the Masterbation appeal of the other movies that did get nominations(which btw I personally feel most of them cheated with limited releases just before the deadline so slip under the nomination wire)...
