Why couldn't they have come up with a simplified hypervisor OS, that would launch individual virtual machines, all geared to run one OS per application. These wouldn't have to be the full blown Windows; just tailored mini-OS's geared towards each app's requirements?
But what will exercise my tv's upgrading of picture?
Actually I just got our Wii working again (cd drive stopped reading disks) after daughter got Zelda Twilight Princess for her birthday. We've been using the XBox for 2012. Daughter doesn't seem to mind differences. I'm not sure she even knows what framerate or HD out is, though.
You're thinking Newtons. They came with a crappy plastic stylus but you could get a nice third party one made out of steel and aluminum. That'll do the trick!
In high school, one summer, I worked at a small department store. Seemed like more stuff walked out the back then out past the registers. Funny thing was, the manager would tell us (stock room) he was having stuff delivered for him personally and at end of day, would bring his truck around and decide what was his delivery. At end of month, he'd get upset at shrinkage and change procedures and such. Don't know if he realized a lot of the stock guys, including the manager, were also walking stuff out the back.
A a small college I worked at (3500 students, 200 staff/faculty) I watched a 1 year People soft transition roll into a 7 year project, with both consultant and wife hired on as full time db administrators (with complimentary condo on the beach).
Apparently, Lucas would not ok any post-VI stories that were too close to his original plot ideas. And per the recent news stories, Lucas turned over his treatments to Disney. Doesn't mean they're going to use them but then again, Disney'a not exactly inexperienced with adapting stories and changing them all around. So, in conclusion, I'd like to think the Academy, my dog Willis, and my hair stylist.
p.s. I wonder if there's room for Shatner in this?
Strictly speaking, I'm warping space as I sit here. A probably time as well, seeing as how I'm wasting it on slasgdot. But yeah, warping space/time to have travel that appears to exceed spacetime? Only hallmark channel movies and algebra classes taught by high school football coaches can approach that level of time fluxuation.
I like women.

Steel, man. They're made from solid STEEL!
You must be new here.

Apple Police only go after prototypes.
They don't have sub-space in Toronto. That's where I'd look first.

Polaroid licensed Instagram for their cameras?
Your interpretation would have given me the sads.
Exactly! Mr. Zorg gets it!

Too small for my figures (25 mm).
Meh.
In west Texas, they know how to bbq a tough brisket until it melts in your mouth. Just sayin.
We're already doing this in publics schools.
So... My 30 pin 16 meg SIMMs are not worth anything anymore? I just don't have a 30 MHz 68030 system anymore.
They were just lazy.
So much for gingers.
Since when are Americans free to associate? That's just a librul myth.
