The only thing apple is good at is making pretty boxes to hold their crappy electronics that run 1/4 a well as real computers but cost three times as much, that only appeal to handlebar mustache wearing hipsters (both men and women) who ride penny farthing bicycles around all day instead of working, swinging their apple bags and smacking people in the face while cackling like Dr. Horrible and picturing how cool their apple box (they never open them or take anything out except for the stickers) will look on their retro-reproduction Eames coffee table, while listening to hipster bachelor space pad music and drinking "coffee" drinks that don't actually contain anything that doesn't have sugar in it so that a single drop, spilled on the floor, causes their genetically mutant purse dog to flip out and go around biting the throats of everyone at night which is just the baby sitter and the kids because the hipsters are now in jail due to smacking an off duty cop in the face with their Apple bag and he got really mad so he kicked over their Pennyfarthing and they fell rough the Apple store window and now apples pressing charges and only allowing them to buy apple tuff with that stupid blue and white Dalmatian patterns so the hipsters glad their hiding in jail.
Exactly! Americans have no expectation of privacy or innocence until proven guilty. And since everyone is likely to resemble someone, somewhere who has done bad things or might do bad thing, it's perfectly sensible to say that everyone is a suspect until proven beyond any possible doubt that yet have not and will not in the future, do something bad. Which is only possible once they're dead. So, until you die, you are a suspect and should expect the government to keep you under surveillance at all times, as well as subject you to both advanced surveillance and body checks as well as enhanced interrogations, just in case. It's only when the govt has full control over its citizenry will America truly be free!
Technically, since everyone resembles someone else who is likely to do something bad, it's perfectly rational to treat everyone as a suspect, until proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that they will never, ever do anything wrong in their life. Or more correctly, their death. Is only way to be sure people won't do something someone else doesn't like.
Now, on a practice level, the only way to enforce 100% suspect interrogation, we need to expand the TSA and combine them with the CIA, NSA, and groups that do 'enhanced interrogations'. Once the government is finally able to make sure that all suspects are constantly under surveillance, America can finally be free.
I don't care for online gaming: just SMAC/X against the computer, using maps and factions I design. I've been playing this game over and over again, since 2001, so I think I'm qualified.

I mean, just because 3 of the 4 women I dated in college came out of the closet after they dumped me, that's not statistically significant of anything (besides, the fourth one took religious orders and lives some kind of communal life in Minnesota).
Weird! Hre in New Mexico, in middle school, the kids get two electives each semester. There's a decent bunch of classes to choose from as well as some required electives like health and home ec, but those just have to be done within the three years of school.
High school should be like military tech training: you get slotted into an MOS nd then all your training is geared towards that job. The whole concept of a knowledgable and well rounded individual that is fit for many professions is just an enlightenment affection. The 21st century is the new Wolf Age where it's man against man and civilization is just an outmoded concept in the way of profits.

I was the only person I knew with a RoadRunner cable modem (test market) and had a PowerComputing clone Mac with three 19" Sony monitors. Web comics were just getting big; I was following almost 10 of them in '97.
The college I worked at was in the middle of designing a new computer center, that would be 10' above the surrounding campus, due to frequent flooding (Florida Gulf Coast) and we were putting up with rolling blackouts each summer, due to high demand.
Yup. I've seen some of the reports on water futures; doesn't look good. Still, the great lakes is the Largest single fresh water source on the planet. Buffalo real estate may heat up soon.

But yeah, a 68 Nova with an '07 Atlas straight 6, that weighs less an the old stovebolt 6, man, that Nova gets down towards 2600 lbs, with more torque and better fuel efficiency! I like!
I don't have one of those but I do have a 454 bored.030 over with 9.6 compression and aluminum edelbrock performer rpm heads/cam/manifold with an 800 cfm AFB carb as well as a 12 bolt rear end with 3.73:1 auburn gears. Just need to find the right car to put it in. With I could afford an aluminum BBC and Ram Jet fuel injection.
'course Jegs has a 502 build of this for just $10,400. Like the saying goes: Speed costs; how fast you want to go?
