It's one of the great ironies of the nuclear world that India and Pakistan will both be safer places to live when the two traditional enemies have enough firepower to destroy all of Asia. Mutual Assured Destruction does NOT mean that someone might throw their hands up in the air and say "who cares - unleash the nukes" just to spite.
NO NUKES means that NO ONE can do this - it becomes impossible, not improbable.
Therefore, anyone NOT interested in dying in a nuclear war must have a No Nukes opinion, if not, you are welcoming the possibility of them being used.
even DPRK is not saying they are developing Nukes - but firing up the reactors in order to get ENERGY as a result of having Bush end the terms of a Clinton treaty (oil for antimilitarism)...

...and once again for Americans; Communism != Fascism.
I know some of you don't think that a few thousand feet would matter for a nuke, but most smaller tactical nukes are used to take out a specific target. The yeild can be as low as a few hundred kilotons or as high as a few megatons. Missing a deep bunker by a few hundred meters with a low-yeild nuke would mean a lot of collateral damage with almost no effect on the target.
Tactical Nukes? HUH? I thought we decided 50 years ago that they were SO brutal and ugly, that no nation would use them. That the humanitarian issues made them an "Unusable" weapon (like there are good weapsons at all) - did someone drop out of the "Mutual Assured Destruction pact" and not send out a memo?

I dont see Palestinians as Terrorists. I see them as Freedom Fighters. Isreal is a brutal terrorist regime that slaughteres them with little conscience.

..another reason: With Iraq emerging from sanctions, with the 2nd largest oilresrves on the planet, SH was going to throw you yankees a curve ball. He had plans to move Iraq to an Oil Trade based on Euros -- as Russia and Venezuala (are?) were discussing -- this spells instant disaster for the US Economy.
With this (most?) vital international commodity exchange NOT conducted in *American Dollars* your industry/economy would have
instantly not been able to control prices domestically (since industry relies on oil, you move your dollar based on your desire to control your economy - this ability is undermined by this shift)
You currency INSTANTLY devalues because people no longer require US$ in order to buy oil from Iraq... sending the dollar lower on currency markets
your debt becomes more expensive to finance

I personally believe that the "War" has more to do with maintaining American Dollar Hegemony in the Middle East Oil Market (OPEC). All I can say is that Transgaming rocks. Why do I say that? Well, I subscribed to Transgaming for a year and **my** experience was that:
*Their development cycle is pretty fast. *Games run out of the box. *Tried and true instructions get a game running under linux in their forums ( or many places elsewhere, for that matter.. *Their forums are very organized, trying to search them is bliss. When you do find some information, it's always a of 'Joe User tried his' and Jane User tried that' , like 'If you are running Mandrake Linux with WineX ver. X.X., then do this to get the game to work...' very easy to follow.
My whole experience with Transgaming is...TERRIFIC!
I've been puzzled by the lack of transparent/translucent windows.
Why not? All it does is chew up a few unused graphics card cycles.
If you have one window and a black background it would look super! Kinda just like what I want now. If you are trying to code in vi, and that window is over slashdot, and that window is over irc you see everything!

2) Last year a group of white right wing extrememists went on a bombing campaign (8 in one day - mostly train stations in black areas but also a Budist Temple) Damage was fairly minimal and they were quickly caught. However it emerged that they had ties to US right wing groupings, unseprisingly some like the KKK, but also to senior republicans . Now could we ask the US to extradite them (with no evidence) and if they refused acuse Washington of habouring International terrrists?
