    I once worked for a certain McFryers' restraunt as a grill cook, and had this crazy coworker. You know the type, they make movies about people like this.

    Anyway, he once accidentaly dropped a ring or something into the fry vat. Now, a normal human would get the tongs or other implement and fish out the lost item. Not our hero! Without an instant of thought, this guy plunged his bare arm into the boiling vat of oil. Miraculously, he suffered only 1st degree burns. My theory is that the existing grease buildup on his arm must have protected him somehow..

    Reminds me of an ex who used to tell me to "get Netscape" when I was having ISP problems. Of course, it's kind of ironic now that Netscape is actually an ISP..

    What about the excellent Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, etc games by Black Isle? Those were about the last RPGs I really enjoyed..

    The sectors that grudgingly must have computers but whose profits aren't highly dependent on them are often far better places to work.

    As a child of the 80's I feel the same way to some extent. However, space travel is still a very new technology. To compare it to nautical development, the sail was just developed last week, and as yet we haven't even left the harbor..

    Also, last time I checked the GTA games carry a "Mature" rating. Theoretically, this means that stores should not be selling these games to children, just like movie theaterss won't admit minors into R-rated movies. When will politicians realize there are more than a few adults who play video/computer games? Instead of further regulations to dumb down content, how about enforcing the guidelines we already have?

    if someone CAN get something for FREE when they are expected by the PRODUCERS to PAY for it and they don't, then yes it's STEALING

    Who cares what the PRODUCERS want? Of course they want to SELL their PRODUCT. Or is it a CRIME now to drink from a WATER fountain instead of paying for BOTTLED water?

    And Enron executives. Oh that's right, they got off scot free although their crimes destroyed many people's personal finances and seriously affected the US economy. That seems a little more serious than copyright infringement, but I guess those with the gold make the rules..

    Solution:: Put your alarm clock on the other side of your room.

    Tried it. Now I just get out of bed, hit the snooze, then flop back down for 10 more minutes. Although it is a better location than the bedside table, where I would tend to snooze multiple times or just turn the damn thing off..

    Well said. What is it about the Christian mindset which gives them a victim complex, while they are in fact are the aggressors? The world has suffered enough through their 2000-year reign of terror, and I for one will be glad when they're gone.
