    So it takes a year an a half to get something done at one of the biggest tech companies there is and in all that time bugger all said about that company's failures before that? It is really a tacit admission of failure and collusion and should not be construed by any means of any change in the status quo. Schmidt is a bullshitting rich asshole who will at this point say anything that sounds like his shit doesn't stink. But it does and we know it.

    My mac mail has been messed up by this and I have had to disable ssl entirely or I can neither send nor receive mail despite having changed the port to one recommended by my web host. I have done a lot of googling on this but nothing solves the problem - otherwise I wouldn't bring it up here.

    Anyone who doesn't irrationally hate Apple have any tips, suggestions for fixing this? I'm still using OS X 10.7 so maybe my best bet is to upgrade the OS, but would like to avoid doing so to keep some older programs running.

    If I recall correctly, by the time Limewire was at the height of its popularity (and becoming more and more useless - lots of fake files, incorrectly named garbage etc.) bittorrent was already well under way and a much more mature and reliable way of sharing files. Limewire was too popular in a populist way. Anybody and everybody used it and poisoned the well.

    I can't imagine them being much like squid or octopus. Seems the ones the Japanese favour are a different kind of eel. But how different can they be? Ship them to Japan! they have a shortage of their own kind of eels! Profit!

    Not sure if the same kind of eel or if it makes any difference, but the Japanese like them too. Kind of oily, but good if prepared properly. The English used to like them but they got all squeamish about icky food.

    Don't know anything about the frequency of various abuses, but it has always been common for Vinnie's brother Tony to do the nightshift or whatever in NY. Regulated? Sort of, but fool proof, safe and above reproach...not so much. The names have been changed to protect the innocent. Does the picture of the cabbie on the license match the face of the driver? Often not.
