Because, let's face it... once the ad-block guys figure out how the advertisers are figuring out they are being blocked, they'll block it another way and then another way... until one side builds an a-bomb so big that the world is afraid the Internet will split in two if detonated.
That was a metaphor; no one nuke the advertisers, please. Or at least give me a few days notice so I can get to a safe distance.
I did not mean to dismiss the benchmark. I think this is a very worthwhile feature to start pushing from SSD makers.
And based off the little research I did after reading the benchmarks, it seems like it will not take much effort for solid state drive manufacturers to add the feature.
So, perhaps reviewers and customers should start demanding it.
I do not mean to plug a particular brand, but the range of SSD's tested in the articles does not seem very expansive nor do they seem to fit into the criteria they specify.
Republic literally means "public matter" as in, the public at large determine the actions of the state.
It does not necessarily need to have representatives. For instance, a pure democracy where every issue or action of the state is put to public referendum would be a republic without representatives.
The United States of America is a constitutional republic, as in the terms of the people's will are spelled out by legislation. Citizens vote representatives into offices that decide on how the legislation is written and enacted.
Fanboy site takes one person's opinion and stretches it across entire group of people, fills rest of article with cherry-picked fluff from other sites.
Maybe it's an issue with an odd number of displays? Can you guys try reducing/increasing the number of displays to four and see if it has similar issues?
We have numerous workstations using AMD video cards and two displays with no issues.
We should stop beating around the bush and just label them common carriers. That is what they are; apply all common carrier laws to them and stop all this nonsense.
Requires WINE but should work fine on Linux.

Why can't we just use transactional cryptographic 3D QR-code like web-based systems that use the smartphone's camera and screen?
If the retailer and the customer both have an Internet connection (independent of each other preferred for security), why is NFC necessary?

Does this mean the write-cache is NAND too? I do not see that in the features for the SSDs they selected.
Also, why was Samsung excluded? Their 800 series with RAID support has been tested in the past with long term writes with great results.

It's illegal to not disclose income or hide it in many nations.
When the FBI or whoever figures out how to reverse the path of coins to the original owners who mined them, they'll be a reckoning... Al Capone style.

Nooo!
Don't do that. I tell all the hot ladies I meet on Slashdot that my id is my bank account balance.
If you lower my id, I'll get laid n-1 times than I have using that line.
Summary mentions an article from the LA Times.

....letting the websites you frequent spy on you across the Internet since 2006.
Then we should have bomb permits!
That'll stop their misuse.
And don't forget about refresh rates. A 60hz refresh rate might be the standard but motion looks a lot better at 120 hz on better monitors.
Higher refresh requires more powerful GPU, no matter the resolution.
Oh? Why not? It's done all the time. People seem to think studies require bias, when in fact you should be trying to avoid it.
Laser sintering is an awesome field but it has been around awhile.
Here's a "How it's Made" about the process from almost 3 years ago.

I stand corrected.
Courts close loophole...... paid off politician gives amnesty to everyone who used loophole..... and rich people always win.
Government fails the 99% yet again.
I know it was mentioned in the FreeBSD 10 release, but looks like several other ZFS features for 10 made it into 9.2.
https://wiki.freebsd.org/WhatsNew/FreeBSD10 Can anyone smarter than me make sense of the SNV page to see if it's in 9.2 too?

Thank you in advance.

Why bother breaking into their offices?
They are attaching these things to balloons and rockets with parachutes, so there is no telling where they will come down.
Just watch their website, find where the last GPS recording was sent and go to that spot for a free military-grade GPS receiver.

News at 11.
I can imagine this technology can be used for other practices, like a massively parallel world system used in games or simulations.
Cuts down on latency and routing issues with multi-node services by allowing switches to be temporary shared-data proxies.
Somebody really needs to go all Heisenberg on their asses....
What does that mean? Do I kick their asses or don't I? Have I kicked their ass already? I have no idea.
Oh, screw it. I'm going Oppenheimer on their asses instead.
We are actually passing through a minor one right now, called the Orion Spur.
