Guess it is hard for you to understand that those of us who have friends and family in a country that the leaders of Iran have stated intent and taken action towards "wiping off the map" might be concerned.
OR maybe you are just a troll?
Since the process of production involves chitosan the resulting "meat" would be be very likely impossible to certify as kosher. Wikipedia tells me that "Commercial chitosan is derived from the shells of shrimp and other sea crustaceans" so even if the original turkey mytoblast cells and the "bovine serum" cells were sourced from animals which were slaughtered kosher, the use of ingredients derived from crustaceans in the manufacturing process fouls the resultant food product from my perspective. This is too bad because where my family lives there is no legal source of kosher meat. If this type of process could be done without crustacean derived chitosan using a coffee machine sized appliance, it might be a real boon to small Jewish communities around the world.
Note: IANAR and there is currently no authoritative consensus on the kashrut status of any synthesized meat products.
Netwho? I had literally forgotten about this brand because they do not exist here in Japan. These days in Tokyo it is pretty much impossible to forget who Apple is due to the popularity of the iPhone and Apple's portable computers. Not to mention that Apple's retail stores in just about every important shopping district in the country. After looking at netgear's website to refresh my memory they seem to be just another manufacturer of generic stuff that does nothing interesting, does not look nice is probably only differentiated from the generic Chinese stuff by the branding sticker.
Now that I know that Patrick Lo is ill mannered enough to do this little routine against someone who is absent for health reasons, I have even less reason to ever be interested in netgear.
Don't just say "it can be made", then leave that as homework to the reader

I guess your implied argument for supporting a tyranny is "otherwise, worse would happen"
Srawman.
I just asked you, what the good reasons are,... So I'll have to assume there simply isn't anything worthwhile there.
Since the CDA has provided the framework for US attempts to guide the Arab Israeli negotiations for over 30 years, the idea of altering the terms of the agreement might be difficult at best. Anyone could try and start a campaign to convince Congress to repeal material support to Egypt or any other country the US provides any form of aid to. There are all sorts of special interest groups out there. Still, as before, context matters which is why both the US State Dept and the govt of the State of Israel have publicly expressed that no matter what happens in Egypt as a consequence of recent events that the treaties in place be respected.
Does everything have to be spelled out in detail, spoon fed at a kindergarten level? Did I actually need to write out a short history lesson to reply to MrSteveSD's post? I actually consider it a crying shame that blather like that gets modded "5 Insightful" because that means people dont know their history.
The "nation" thing is not easy for non Jews to get at first. I pointed out that it does not relate to the State of Israel in that it has nothing to do with what passport/papers a Jew holds. It is about our unity as a people either inside the land of Israel or in the diaspora. Again, get one of your Orthodox friends to explain those two phrases I mentioned above.
Even atheists/secular Jews are still Jews by halacha and count for a minyan. But it is not like any post modern concept of group identity of liking the same music or wearing a certain t-shirt. One can only choose to be Jewish by converting according to the halacha.
At my shul on any friday night you will see a range of Jews including Ethiopian, Askenazi, Sephardi, Mitzrai and Asian. The halacha is quite clear on who is a Jew: born of a Jewish mother or converted. It is not an ethnic thing, it is a "national" thing as in the nation of Israel (not the State). Go ask your Orthodox friends about the "am yisroel" or "k'lal yisroel".
As for the oversensitive bit? Thats just annoying. About as annoying as "some of my best friends are Jewish". Stop it.
Also if your character is Sephari, why not use Ladino instead of Yiddish?
If I missed your concession, mea culpa.
Who gives a damn? Lots of Jews. We have our own system of determining who is or is not part of our population. Whether the outside world likes or accepts our system is their issue not ours.
FYI Japanese copyright law treats software differently than music which is in turn different than moving pictures which is in turn different from photography or other "fixed" image art forms, etc. In the early days of gaming here it was not clear which category games might be classified under and thus whether or not rental would be legal.
The more you know...
Renting records used to be semi-common in the US. That kind of business became rare because of problems managing and replacing damaged inventory more than copyright issues.
But most /.'ers have yet to learn that.
The thing is that Fils-Aime has a good point. Try reading the (short) article, you might just see that.
You missed my point completely it seems.
And about as well scripted as a mid-90s magazine article on cyberpunk.

Why can't we get some decent competition for the iPad?
Lots of obvious reasons maybe?

What are Vegetarians going to do when this comes out?
Same as they do today. Complain and try to guilt others.
You are not missing anything but will probably be considered a blasphemer for pointing out the obvious.

I giggle some how net.think mistakenly uses the word "religion" when they mean "Christianity".
I'd hope the phrase Camp David Accords rings a bell. If not I cant really be surprised.
Context matters. You might want to look into why the USA provides material support to Egypt.
I certainly do. I'm a native speaker of American English who grew up partially supported by alimony payments.
Its a rough transliteration of "Anonymous Coward" in Hebrew.
Stay ignorant then. Your choice.

We dont have Hulu or anything like it here in Japan.
Its not a question of shared genetic material amongst semetic peoples, its your "ten tribes" claims where things get weird and non sciencey.
Evidently you use a different definition of "accurate" than others.
