This just seems to be an electronic tattle-tale to me. It doesn't do anything to improve safety, all it does is give insurance companies more room to try to weasel out of paying claims.

Graphic artists and such are drooling over these things, since they can do art ANYWHERE.

Also, if the HOA, ownership company, etc, decides they want to try and dispute this, you are allowed by the FCC rulings to keep your equipment in place until a desicion is rendered.

Try reading the post that I responded to before trying to argue with me next time. I was referring to his suggestion that Tolkien's "innovations" were being "stolen" so that copyright was not effective in protecting any works. He then went on to infer the copyright should be elimitated, and patents should be applied to everything (like that wouldn't make a screwed-up system even worse). I simply recommended that he try to patent a book, poem, song, etc. YOU CAN'T. THAT WAS MY POINT.

They are required to allow you to sign up with another LONG-DISTANCE provider, just like all of the telcos. They are NOT required to allow you to use another local provider, especially since they will tend to be the only ones operating in a region. The only change to this is if they don't have ownership of the physical cable, but that only happens in MDU's.

"Unpopular" speech has just as much a right to exist as "popular". If it has to be done anonymously, so be it. If it's "false accusations" as you claim, investigation will bear this.

There is a lot of fear right now of being prosecuted (persecuted) under the current government climate for your beliefs. If you don't think this is true, think about the Muslims and Hindus (damn ingnorant rednecks) that were assaulted after these attacks. Let's not forget, the US goverment is by the people, for the people. If you're a citizen, you're officially part of the government. You're assertion that the exceptions make the rule is a fallacy in this case, as it's the threat of BECOMING part of that "minority" stifles free speech.
