Apple make their money off of hardware sales because of the software on/in it. What good is a "Smartphone" if you don't have an app store for it? In other words, will you stick to a phone that you cannot install anything on?
You would have never said all that if you actually new what Islam is and what are the teachings of Islam. If you really want to know about Islam, you should give the Holy Quran a reading.

I'm on 57.0.2 and haven't got the said extension. Even the main article hasn't mentioned the update version.
