So after a suitable length of time we will evolve a better cooling system for the family jewels?
Or even better I could invent a sterilization prevention cooling system that water cools the Nads.
A Premium upgrade gets you constant temperature monitoring and zero maintenance!
Or you could just film a real dog or two that is similar to what you are animating.
The "researchers" didnt even come up with a good formula for predicting it based on dog size.
Probably because it varies for different breeds and what doggie chow he eats.
He also seemed preoccupied with ill will toward his ex-wife, writing at one point that "not enough bad things can happen to her if you know what I mean." And he offered to drop his request for monetary compensation in return for information or pictures of his son.
So.. look I'll give you this information and you put a good hurtin on the b*tch. Oh and get my son back from her. K, thanks.
I'm pretty sure the group I heard about was the real deal. Respected and well known Information Security researchers work with them or for them. Mostly volunteer staffed and they communicate with the government on emerging threats. Sounds very similar..
Or it could just be a private forum where a bunch of white hat hackers and researchers talk about stuff.
When I was a MIRT Handler at Castlecops I heard of a secretive invite only organization that coordinated and worked on tracking online criminal activity. I was not told the name of this group. The deal was: if they wanted you then you would hear from them. I wonder if this is the same group.
If so, then I assume their shadowy invite-only policy isn't working so well for recruiting.
Yet again, Microsoft let money get in the way of their users privacy and security. I didn't even know what Inprivate Filtering was until I read this article and the fact that it is turned off every time you restart IE makes it pretty much useless. I'm not regretting my decision to use Firefox for everything.
There are already many tablets out there.. a few successes and many failures.
Tablets come between smartphones and laptops. So we have our phones which have the apps and webbrowsing/email/texting/navigation so we dont need a tablet for that. And we have our laptops for working/gaming. What would I need a tablet for? Games? Have those on my Android phone and my laptop. Reading books? Sorry not sold on holding a heavier tablet for that purpose. If I want to read books electronically I would buy the new cheap kindle that just came out that is easy on the eyes and lasts for a month on its battery.
Apple used their fan following and marketing muscle to convince people they need another device around. They did it right and saturated the market. If Microsoft thinks this means that everyone wants tablets now and are focusing their time and money on developing one, then they are very misguided.
Its not a rumor. In an interview with her she stated that she has his computer with a partially written novel on it and will not give it up unless they agree to let her finish it and share in the revenue. She says that she was part of his writing process and has the know-how to finish it in line with his vision. Personally I agree that she is the only who could do it and still keep his name on the book. You bring in another author and it would not be the same.
Hopefully they let her do it or give her a good chunk of change in return for the computer.
What is this world coming to when sadistic cliche-ridden trash become the top selling e-books? I would have thought people with ebook readers would read better written novels.
There has been a massive marketing campaign by Amazon and big chain bookstores to sell Larsson's books so that might explain it. I heard from someone who walked into Borders and got pitched Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by an employee before he even opened his mouth. Then the cashier asked him if an employee has recommended the book. When he asked why the cashier said that employees had been told by management to do it. Could it be sellers are getting kickbacks from the publisher?
> Right, because criminals could never figure this out by themselves.
Then why haven't they yet? Most criminals aren't smart enough to figure that out, so they just go for the tried and tested methods already out there. Now that they learn that hacking the machines remotely isn't that hard to do, they will use their stolen money to fund research into it. I don't know about you, but I didn't know that ATMs were remotely exploitable.
> They bought cheap crap. Too bad. So sad.
Easy to say until the ATM you use frequently is shutdown because it was hacked.
I'm all for security research but publicly displaying these exploits will bring ATM mischief to the next level.
Why use skimmers and mini cameras when you can just hack the ATM remotely and have an accomplice stand there and get the cash that comes out?
If proof-of-concept code gets out on the net, watch out! A lot of little banks and vendors are going to be sorry.
And good luck trying to patch all the millions of machines around the world.

Bow down to the mightly Virgin Queen Boa! She needs no man.

Yeah except on Fark it would be "Dog eats Man's toe and saves his life. Give that Dog a steak!"

Thank you for the link about his common law wife.
Absolutely horrible how his estranged father is treating her.
Surely he is fuming in his grave seeing how she got none of his estate.

Thank you for your clear and convincing insight.
I propose "Jebus, Gary Phebus!" as the new expression of shock and surprise. There certainly aren't many people like him.
