    Those central sources are far cleaner than an ICE. They are also cheaper per watt.

    It's a start, and I like the idea of an electrical vehicle because I can't build a gasoline refinery in my yard...but some solar cells and/or wind power...those can help.

    Right now I'm just driving for no good reason so I can drive up the price of gas :D

    Nah, just kidding.

    Given how things turned out...most of the Confederacy is a bunch of under-achieving states that wouldn't have highways if Federal Taxes weren't redistributed from the coastal states. The North fought hard to keep a bunch of loser slave-owning bible-thumpers in our country. They repaid us by continuing to hate on black people, hate on the liberal ideals that keep them in electricity, and hating on the idea of giving other groups freedoms that the majority enjoys. Oh yeah, don't forget the war-mongering and refusal to sign up to fight said war.

Well except China, at least China is requiring it's people to be responsibility. Too many humans think it is their right to have as many children as they wish. Just look at the USA where we give free money and tax credits for every child you have.

    Local retailers refuse to exchange a game for anything except the same game (i.e. defective media). They don't care if my system meets the spec on the box but won't run because the copy protection doesn't like a SCSI CD-ROM.

    Best Buy and GameStop (or whatever they are called today) did this.

    Sometimes I just don't feel like giving a fuck about Imaginary Property so who knows what might happen.

    If I buy a game, and it won't work on my system, I am screwed. I can't get my money back. I've been burnt like this with a few titles in the past.

    So, now that I feel that the industry has gotten their pound of flesh, I just play copies. Now and again a really good game will inspire me to buy the package to support the developer. Civ4 did this. Often the pirated game gets played a few times and deleted because it wasn't all that good in the first place.

    I was so pissed about unskippable commercials and FBI warnings on my DVDs that I stopped buying them new. I now wait, buy them used, rip them to my PC, remove that shit, and burn new disks to play. Now I can put the disk in and start watching my movie. No lectures from the government about copying the disk I fucking paid for. No worries about my ownly copy getting scratched and having to buy a new copy.

    When I can burn full-capacity BlueRay movies to my own media, and I can get BlueRay movies used, I will consider switching.

    Until then? Fuck those guys.

    The people living on that land had very little to do with the Empires which claimed to own the land.
    They were just living their lives and saw that some outside forces had made claims. It wasn't until the creation of Israel that those empires had real effects of the average resident. That's when they began to fight back.

    I've been told repeatedly online that my children should have to hang out with convicted child molesters because I feel that the molesters should be kept in jail, or allowed to live a free life after servicing time, but not be subjected the weird purgatory we have now with zones they can live in and the requirement to inform neighbors that they were convicted.
