isn't it ironical how IE9 looks like chrome interface. finally they are getting rid of all those menu bars. seems like google should have requested a patent on minimal web browser interface. they will have received one issued in Eastern Texas.
it might be too late for Rupert Murdoch and his media pals. I find it hard to believe that with all the talent that these multimedia companies have, they did not see how the internet was going to change their business model. Or did they just ignore the facts.
this is the beauty of android. the fact that features like these are built into the OS instead of having all these hardware manufacturer's doing something different for all the different phones. of course this is possible now since these carriers decided to open their mobile platforms. back in the day, verizon or att will not let you touch their market. now if only we can do the same on the tv set boxes and liberate them from concast, dish and directv.
I agree as well. I was about to say Apple needs to give up on trying to stop people from jail breaking their phones, however, as previously pointed, this is a security issue and needed to be dealt with accordingly. so the side effect was that it stopped the jail breakers but i think their main concern was the exploit.
Healthy profits are good but there has to be some reasoning and balance between profits and morals. Their principle is "do no evil", however, when you have shareholders who don't care about anything but profits, "do no evil" does not fly around them. Hedge fund managers don't like Google and they will openly tell you. They believe that Google should not have taken the moral ground and stood up to china, since it is shaping to be one of the biggest internet societies in the world. They see lost opportunities and a decline in market value. that's all that matters. however, Google knows how other companies have lost their souls in search for profits and they don't want to be known for that. so they have this tight rope that they need to walk.
if you bet, then intuitively there is some factor of luck involved. however, you dont get your grades in school by luck. it is under your control. however i have to say there is luck sometimes, in that some teachers are better than others and your grade depends on who your teacher is. some teachers explain things clearly and can break down any subject to your level of understanding, and others are just there because they have tenure. so there is luck in that respect. but overall it is up to the students.
None, which makes the case for net neutrality more valid. However with Google and Verizon already doing side deals, i'm not sure how much longer, traffic will be neutral.

important when we want to create true dynamic content without using flash.

this is a slippery slope that RIM has created for itself and there is no turning back now.
