Ah, but as the defendant, it is not her responsibility if she has not been legally served. If the legal papers were returned, then she was never served. She has really good grounds for filing for a mistrial.
I agree with the damn mail demons. My Earthlink account is now getting over a thousand a day bounces with a forged header. Of those, about 20 get through Earthlink's filters (which kinda suck because the only way I can get them blocked is by blocking everything not on my whitelist). It was kinda of funny that one for an US Army server, where they apolgized for sending it to me as they realized this was a forged request but federal guidelines required sending back a response.
My understanding is that Federal law trumps the Homeowners Ass. so you can not be prevented from putting up a windmill. Every case I have heard of where this has come up, the Homeowners Ass. got shot down.
You are looking at it wrong. You are getting a 2gb Memorystick for $77. A couple of months ago I bought a 2gb MS for close to $100. The fact they are throwing in a movie is nice. This might be enough to get people to buy the Sony MS for a couple of bucks more than the SanDisk MS. that Sony also gets to promote thier movie download service is good for them, and I don't see how it is harmful to consumers.
I personally just rip my DVD's, but if I didn't already have a 2gb MS, I might be inclined to pick one of these up.
Memorystick duo is a direct pin compatible with Memorystick, and usually has an adapter to use in regular Memorystick devices. Pretty much every multiformat card reader will read Memorystick. Memorystick is used in more than just Sony devices, but not alot more. But why are you not complaining about xD cards? Or Smartmedia? Even Compactflash is not that common anymore. And even if you had a a Sony camera, you would still want two cards as it is a pain to go swapping cards around.
Up North, it was common for ATM's to be in the entry way of a bank. The outer door was unlocked with the ATM card to keep out bums and provide a little security for patrons. I remember in the 80's in MA, there wasn't a bank with an ATM accessible to the elements. In the 90's in NY, there were few banks that had the entry way ATM and one on the outside. Now in FL, every ATM is outside unless it is located inside a mall or supermarket.
How is destroying State, County, or City property a Federal matter? Oh, thats right, it's not. And what makes someone a journalist? Do you really want only State sanctioned reporters? You are not freaking insightful troll.
In hearing tests two years ago, I could detect tones up to 18 khz. At the time I was 32. This was with soundproofed headphones and with ambient noise I probably couldn't detect it. But saying anyone over twenty could not hear it is wrong.
An electronic device only designed to irritate others is fair game for "vandalism". The device is meant to be heard beyond the old man's property, so it is encroaching on your freedoms. I imagine that that cutting the speaker diaphram would make it stop emitting anoying noises. The device looks like a loud speaker, so...
Getting the police too riled up could easily lead to police harrassment of yourself.
Well, actually thebones in your ears continue to grow, so the threshold of your hearing well decrease as you get older, but depending on how well your blessed in the genetics, and how little damaged your hearing is, you can easily hear the high frequncy range to a very old age.
One could just pay $50 for a Network printer adpater. Linksys and Dlink makes them where they hook up either to a usb or Parallel interface, and are either wireless or 10/100 rj45 jacks. Just do a search on print server.
Actually this is closer to the gel pack body armour in Shadowrun. you could get a flexible armour that was these liquid gel packs sewn together. The gel would harden under any significant impact, spreading out the force of the impact.
What cases? Because every case where this has come up, the person was charged with something else, never accessing a WAP. The guy in Tampa, was charged with something like loitering.
The precedent with open Wifi access was that only savvy users had it and purposefuly left thier waps open. So if you came across an open wap, it meant free access. Now it usually meansclueless newb, but might be meant to be free. Particularly if they do not have a default name and it is open, then it is meant to be open. If it is a clueless newb, well, they won't notice someone connecting and as they are on some all you can eat plan, it really doesn't matter. I consider much the same like using a store's restroom or water fountain even if I don't buy anything there.
More even than auto makers, is the building market. Everything is based on dividing by 12 or 16. You can express a 2x4 in metric, but it will be some odd fractional measurement. Plous there is resistance on the part of the general population. Look at water bottles, they sell tem as half liters, but everyone refers to them as 16.9 fl oz. I, who am fairly metric literate for an American, had to look at the bottle to realize that 16.9 fl oz is exactly 0.5 L.

If it is an embedded device why not use the GPL version of QT or Opie?

What, you mean they don't know how to make ballons?
Err, Dracula? Same era and is wholeheartedly fantasy. Just that Fantasy was not a recognized genre.
Cyberdyne are just a bunch of Idiots.
Umbrella are the evil bastards.

IR gets stopped by our skin. Microwaves penetrate to our internal organs. Ever seen a potatoe explode in a Microwave oven?

The lab can have steps that would be evolutionary dead ends.
The lab can skip evolutionary steps.

The latest version does have a spyware checker. It is useless, but it is there.
The internet itself is under attack. If the communications giants, which are closely allied with big media, have thier way; we are screwed.
