It is ported. The default QT theme looks the same on Windows and Linux. Set your KDE them to something else and you will see the difference. Besides, Ryan Gordon, nee Icculus, ported it. We are talking about the one guy who has ported about every game to Linux that was not made by Id or Bioware. If there is one guy who knows how to port OpenGL to Linux it would be him.
If the number is quoted from Washington state, it is probably only for Washington State. For the Nation it has to be higher. I remember over 5 for the past year in Florida alone. Though maybe some of those were custody abductions.
If you filter out the remedial courses that US Uni's offer to get US students up to speed, they are better than most foreign Uni's. In Japan, College is the time to party, while in the US, High School is the time to party.
I don't know about GTA, but I think it was Oblivion where they mapped the male nipples over to the female body. Besides I could see settinga full model just in case you want to add that content in and deciding not to for marketing reasons when you ship the game.
At least in NIS 2006 you could create special rules to open specific ports, but it was not easy. Of course some of thier default settings were idiotic. By default NIS would block secure web pages. Add in that Symantec only offers pay for support phone calls, and you really have to wonder if they purposefully do this to hold thier customer's bank access hostage.
You basically prove the point I was trying to make. The terms have been so loosely defined, and various powers have tried to corrupt thier meanings, that you basically need to define them yourself.
No the GP is saying that if someone has a problem with the default install of Apache in FC5, then they could install thier own copy with whatever options they want enabled. They are not expected to write install scripts, just follow a recipe of installing from source.
Cripes, my Mandriva desktop has about 20 hours downtime, and that is including reboots into Windows to play games, and reboots into various other Distros to test.
Oh, wait a minute there was few days when I was without power due to a Huricane. I suspose it could have been up, but I felt keep my food fresh in the 'Fridge was more important.
The point is that for the first couple seconds it reads off the Flash, and lets the hard have a slow spinup instead of the high power draw instantaneous spinup.
Old flash like that in my Zaurus SL550 PDA and older Compact Flash cards have ~100,000 writes. Newer Flash has something on the order of ~1,000,000 writes. As it is used to cache seldom updated things like OS files or hibernate files, it shouldn't be an issue. Mind you, it should have been 1-4Gb instead of 256mb, so that the OS and other useful things could be cached entirely.
Well, the United Kingdom is a commonwealth. Commonwealth is a synonym of republic. So the U.K. is a republic. But wait, republics do not have monarchs. The CIA factbook lists the UK as a constitutional monarchy, China as a communist state, and the US as a federal republic. The CIA Factbook also defines a republic as a representative democracy. The CIA factbook also defines a democracy as supreme power resides with the people. I consider the CIA a lot more authoritarian than some stupid wiki.
A representative democracy is a Republic. It is not a democracy. Old Athens would be a democracy even though voting privs were limited to land holding males. Some New England towns are democracies. The US as a whole is not a democracy. Universal suffrage is a not a defining point of Republics or Democracies. Who actually votes for laws is the defining point. If those with suffrage votes directly for laws, then it is a Democracy. If representatives of those with suffrage vote for laws, then it is a Republic. Old Rome, with the Senate, was a republic. Old Athens, with the Public Forum, was a democracy. Who has suffrage is not a defining point.
Well two things, one, some of the oldest USB CF readers have problems with the latest high speed CF cards. Two, the Sony MS readers have updates to provide compatibility with MagicGate and MS Pro.
As has been the case with CDR, DVD+/-R media is really a matter of buying Brandname stuff. Avoid the the Generic or Store Brand stuff as it is junk. There is only a couple of places actually making the discs, so most Brands are really the same. The generics just use used stamps, lower quality dye, and cheap reflective layers. A fried bought some CompUSA brand DVd-R discs and was wondering why he wwas having problems reading the discs 6 months after burning. I checked out one of the discs and asked my friend "if he could see through the disc?" He replied, "yes." "Can you tell what color the dye is?" "What Dye?" "That's your problem. Poor dye, and low reflectivity."
If your reader won't read MS Pro or Duo then complain to the manufacturer of the reader or buy a new one. I bought an 8-in-1 reader from Target for $20. Also, your Phone can read MS though it would need an adapter they may not fit depending where you Duo slot is. Mind you, I don't think such an adpater is on the market. See, MS and MS Duo are the same specification just a different form factor.
HiFD takes the cake. Came out after Superdrive or just about the same time, but long after Zip, it was truly a device looking for a market.
There was nothing technically wrong with them, just why bother with the ubiquitous of Zip and CDRW already on the scene. Sony Vaio wouldn't even touch HiFD.
It is likely you were experiencing a reaction to the caffeine ins the soda. Most Diet sodas contain more caffeine than regular soda. Additionally, most American's headaches are caused by caffeine withdrawal.
So you are actually suggesting people open the hard drive and run a rare earth magnetic over the platters? Because anything short of an MRI is going to do jack squat to a modern hard drive. I have dropped a 1" cube nneodymiun magnet on a hard drive and it did nothing.
I have had friends try erasing hard drives with a bulk tape eraser. One failed to spin up. The other two would boot up fine and still had all thier data.
I consider someone who is 13 to be quite a bit different from someone who is 17. In many states, a 17 year old can engage in consensual sex, sometimes with certain restrictions on the age fo thier partner. At 17, you usually can get a driver's license, sometimes a bit younger, but I am not aware of any state that requires you to be older. At 16 or 17, you can usually get an actual job, as opposed to odd jobs like mowing the neighbor's lawn.
So at 14, scraping together the money to buy a game that you are not allowed, is going to take some time and palnning. They are going to run the risk that they will get caught. The more likely scenario is they will go over to a friend's house with an older sibling that is allowed to paly the game.
It is considered that the Virginia accent is closer to Elizabethan English than Modern British English is.
You forgot Basque which is older and some theories claim it is the Neanderthal language.
Besides, modern English is as much Norman (French) as it is Anglo-Saxon (German).

Well, actually, it is simple, just go to the barber the day before your visit.

If there is a big enough time gap in passing on packets, then it is effectively blocked.

Hey now, it is possible he sat on a grenade in Desert Storm and the Docs put a metal plate in his ass.

Yes they work in Linux, and should work on a Mac. They are just USB Mass storage devices. The updates are Windows only though. :(
