  1. Re:Think of the Artists on Czech Copyright Bill Undercuts Copyleft, Artists · · Score: 0

I am no artist, but I know a couple and I can assure that live concerts are nothing to be enthusiastic about. Roaming the states giving shows that barely cover their own costs (travel, food, insurance, other performers,... label royalties) is not a viable option, unless you give gigs to 50k+ person. And you dont realise that the "pay" you recieve is just based on your invesement, no matter what you work in. Builders invest effort, and thus get paied for their effort. Artists invest time, lots of it, and they should be paied for just that much. A song doesnt write itself over night, and you should realise that if you notice that pretty much most artist release an album per year or so. That, and it looks like you talk about something you dont know on a very biased point of view...

  2. Re:Two words on Searching For Backdoors From Rogue IT Staff · · Score: 0

With all due respect. Someone working in IT and with a reasonnable level of sense and intelligence would probably know how to make the results look a bit more... satisfying? Psychology tests are the most rigged things made to date. They work with illeterate people and rather badely rised kids, for the others, they don't work.

  3. I know am no space nerd, but... on Richest Planetary System Discovered With 7 Planets · · Score: 0

I guess that this is because of all the games I played and the movies I watched... But I find it a bit surprising that there is such an uproar because they found a system with 7 planets. Shun me not, but, I personally thought that a system with 9 planets would be common. :/ But yeah, Iguess it's just my mediatic up-bringing...

  4. It makes me sad... on Why the World Is Running Out of Helium · · Score: 0

I am sadened by the fact that, instead of worrying of our consumption of a rather finite resource, the article seems to worry more about the price it was sold at... heck, its a gaz, ffs, it shouldnt be sold in the first place. Sure this covers the cost of the refinement and collection and all... Still, this page makes me sad.
