I just installed Hero of Sparta, non-market place game for free. I swear, that's the last non-market place app I'll install on my phone.

is a possibility on my laptop. I know it would void my warranty with HP. I have a Pavilion DV6 with a discrete AMD Mobility 5650 1GB in my laptop. If I put in a more powerful mobility card or jury rig a desktop card, would I be at risk of cooking components?
I could still use Internet Explorer 8. I have 9 right now, but certain websites that my job requires me to go to locks me out of some content. Autotask.net and some other sites that my school has access to is nonfunctional. I know most pages comply, but the few that don't - why are we forced to use Microsoft software?
I have a lot of anxiety using free hot spots in stores and coffee shops. I got a Driod X recently and I am tethering from it via USB rather than the wireless mode. I feel a lot safer, but - is the cellular traffic from the phone to a cell tower relatively secure?
0 FPS, only because it would be annoyed at how unoptimized the code is. It would be so annoyed that it would rewrite the source into a preferred code, maybe CryEngine 4 and bypassing the new Crysis coming out
Question: If we had such a computer, or artificial intelligence. Would we be aware of it’s existence? I am leading to the idea that our military intelligence would likely have AI and suppress any knowledge of it until it is leaked or we are ready.
I like to think that we have the tech now for cars to drive themselves but our society isn’t ready for a leap, so we are getting slow introductions to it – i.e. Microsoft Sync that is only available to those who want to buy a new Ford
I'm saving up money for a trip into orbit. It would be feasible for me to spend $10,000 to $20,000 dollars for space flight. I figure this will be a possibility for me in 20 years when it drops to that price, maybe sooner when we have space elevators.
I ordered Verizon's Droid X a few weeks ago, it should arrive next week. But I heard that Droid 2 has a discreet graphics component whereas the Droid X doesn't. Is this true? People who have the Droid X, are you happy with the phone?
I regret the install and uninstalled the app, but I'm sure they mined for data I gave up.

Wow, I'm glad I am in the right field of study. This makes me happy... I will be able to pay back student loans...
What sort of framerate can it run Crysis at?

Excuse me, I was thinking in relation sense, if we had a sudden leap in computer technology. I can't edit my previous comment :(

I only asked a question, I didn't state that I think a tactical nuke would be the way to go. My question was just a simple thought experiment.
My comment is hindsight, but does anyone think the damage done would have been less if we utilized a tactical nuke at the site of the spill?
I never saw Armageddon when it came out and never bothered to rent it since. I heard so many bad things about that movie.
