I'll buy the first car that offers 300 miles of range at a reasonable price (i.e. 35k). So basically waiting for that battery commercial breakthrough (i.e. 400Wh/kg density).
A friend of mine showed me his fancy Microsoft Phone the other day. He proceeds to show me the address book, which I thought was plain boring, and then the map. The phone froze right there. He put it back in his pocket mumbling a "ah yeah it does that sometimes". I don't know what happened next, he probably rebooted it somewhere no one was looking. Rebooting. A phone. Seriously. Some people never learn.
So when people have a choice, choosing "not Microsoft" seems like a rational choice. Indeed.
Where can I find this font for Linux? I just love the look of it. I recognise it instantly. Every paper, book or document using that font unconsciously feels of higher quality to me.
I've noticed the different in speed of OpenGL versus DirectX in the past when the first versions of Google Earth came out. You could choose between OpenGL and DX to run the program. OpenGL was very smooth whereas DX's FPS could be counted on your fingers.
Ask them to write a program, give the functional result a monetary value, and tell them they'll get n% of it, where n is the percentage of properly formatted, bug free lines of code.

I'm terrified of losing my job, therefore I should get a huge salary increase?
Because they don't know any better. When you have nothing to compare to what you have is the best.

Not at all!
The name Microsoft makes me run in the other direction as fast as I can. Avoiding MS products correlates with good mental health.
He obviously needs to start working on cloning sooner than later.

Incredible.

How do you think they became a monopoly in the first place? From history, Xbox One is going to be a smashing success.
Dodged that bullet. In all sincerity, thank you redhat.
I've been a Fedora/Redhat user since 1998 (5.1 Manhattan). With first Gnome 3 and now this, I think the time has come to look somewhere else... :C
Oh why, why can't they install those in projectors, instead of those nuclear mini power plants?

Your car only gets 60MPG going downhill? I've got to release the handbrake a little.
If they charge the service the same way they charge my internet cable service it should cost around $1980.50 a month.
What's wrong with the current system? How in hell is rebooting for update a feature? Stop "fixing" things that aren't broken!
Oh yeah I forgot to mention that I loathe Gnome 3.

I put on my hat, replace my wallpaper with a high res picture of the brick wall, and head off to newegg.com.
I don't know why you got downvoted but it does make a lot more sense than the Genesis tale.
