"Canonization of the deceased" is one of the weirdest defects we have. People become unassailable once their hearts stop beating, at least, if you're politically correct which is often just disguised cowardice.
Regardless of my own feelings towards Steve Jobs (admiration, disagreement in some things, indifference) I'm glad that some people have a strong/honest enough personality to divulge their arguments without fear of what others might say.
And who gets to decide if your words actually encouraged crimes, violence or whatever else you think is so evil and consequence of your words? What happens when you are adversarial to the government and they consider it a threat?
I'm sorry but you're telling me that you were forced to update and break the tools and you moved to chrome because you found more suitable tools there?
What addons do you use for developing?
Also, don't you test on all major browsers? How is it that you end up using one more out of convenience when in the end, you have to try them all when working and can use whichever you want for personal use?
I don't what your experience might be to say such a thing but in my case, I've found that Nokia phones extremely reliable in terms of durability. Enduring all kinds of hardships without much more than a scratch. I'm talking about falling on the pavement at 30 Km/h and uncountable 1/1.5 mts falls in different surfaces.
When I buy used paper books from amazon it's because I want to consume their knowledge. Once I have that knowledge, I'll use the proper tool (usually a computer) to create content.
I think you're misunderstanding the purpose of this device.
It's nice to see that as Salvor Hardin said "An atom blaster is a good weapon, but it can point both ways." and the surveillance state has a hard time avoiding cameras when they're so little and so easy to carry.
How come those who develop for different browsers find there's quite a number of pros and cons for each of the major browsers? Because they take the time to try and test them. Not just talk out their asses.
Opera is very cool and so is Firefox. If you want to choose one over the other then do so, but don't come and act smug about your choice without even knowing what you're talking about. Context matters here, addons (some of them dev tools), speed, openness, interface, customization, ohh-shinyness, default config, release cycle, performance in different OSes, plugin performance, perceived security and I'm sure many more things...
Use the one/s you like and try to improve it or even try to improve the ones you dislike to raise the standards but stop acting like blind fanatics.
Maybe you won't get modded down if you explain your strong statements that seen explicitly designed to offend those who clearly don't think the way you do.
By the way, How can a cause, which is an abstract concept make you uncivil, I don't even know.
Your claim implies that regardless of their actions, you've already judged & condemned them.
A hypothetical related problem is, if I could had a futuristic Any Material Copier and just pointed at something you had and pushed the button, cloning it for myself with my resources.
Would I be stealing?
I'm not saying I'd go out and distribute the object and sell it, I'm saying I'd just use the own EXACT copy I created with my device.

But a humans would send robots to kill the people who manage the Robot Control Center (TM) or whoever operates, works out the tactics, codes the algorithms, etc. The objective won't be the robots (maybe and obstacle) but the human factor that allows for a continuation of violence and opposition.

If we find a way to make children want to learn, they can pretty much use any means they have available and the wider the variety the better (teachers, internet, books, experiences). Problem is when you think that getting a better resource will automatically get them to want to learn.
