    Note the report is 8 years old. That tells you how big the fabrication problems are. SiC and GaN are getting big in the power semi industry just now, after years of grief.

    That's why we used Symptoms-based fertility awareness (AKA natural family planning). 99.4+% effective. No drugs, surgery, or condoms.

    Several times I've seen somebody drop a water glass on a hard floor, and the first hit just sets the glass vibrating but doesn't break it. The second hit, the madly vibrating glass hits the floor again and it's all over. Usually just a fraction of a second - BANG CRASH tinkle.

    The problem was the crowded Republican field, and the noisiest got a higher percentage, egged on by the media who not only supports Hillary but sold lots of newspapers and air time.

  18. Why not just let the candidates raise money from wherever, and the highest total gets elected? Put it in the US Treasury, no ads on TV, no voting, no cheating or hacking, just count the dollars. Wouldn't be much different from our present system, and non-hypocritical.

    My newest PC is a 5 year old laptop. All run Linux, so there's no need to buy new ones unless I want to edit 1080P video (they do 720 fine). Once you age them to shake out the bad components, they'll last a long time (bottom of the bathtub curve). And I run up to date OSes.

    I was recently in the Netherlands, and it seems like there were more windmills than ever before. BIG ones, now.

    Our land line would crap out for days whenever there was a heavy rain. By the time the tech came out to fix it, it had dried out again and worked sorta OK again. Rinse (rain) and repeat. All this for $83 a month with no frills.

    I finally convinced my spouse that we could get our number (that we've had for 42 years) ported to VoIP, with 911 service and all the goodies, for $5 a month. It was a happy day when I took out my Western Electric dikes and went SNIP.

    Now I have to get her off her Verizon cell phone. I pay Ting $15 a month (cheap GSM Blu phone), I don't wanna look at her bill.
