    And I see a problem here, why don't they send the CD? I'm sure that people would like to have the CD And the MP3's, especially because many don't have a CD burner or don't know how to burn MP3's. By buying music online, customers will have the advantage of instantly downloading the MP3's while waiting for the album to arrive.

    See, their's no legal alternative. So what is RIAA complaining about?

    That's not a serious online shop. I looked at a top ten list and made a few searches to see if the albums were available. Results :
    Janet Jackson - 0 results
    Madonna - 0 results
    Britney Spears - 0 results
    Jewel - 0 results
    Pink Floyd - 0 results
    Sting - 0 results
    etc...

    Find them a website which allows them to purchase music and download them instantly online in MP3 or WMA format and I'm sure many will stop the piracy.

    Unfortunately, you won't be able to, the RIAA doesn't want to give us that much convenience.

    Actually it asks you for an administrator password and if you leave it blank it tells you clearly that this may be a security risk. But hey I've seen some people leave it blank anyways. I'm no DBA but yet I know that I have to set a password. Anyone who have "really worked" with MS SQL knows that.

    All routers have default passwords setup, I don't see anyone complaining.

    I don't see God coming to me and taking away my freedom to speak, read, say dirty words, have sex, drink beer, go out, etc. just so he can guarantee my security. The government should look at that role model and do what he does (nothing).

    Freedom has it's pains, but it's worth it. Enough is enough, it's time for our governments to take their responsibilities and leave us alone.

    At that time many articles were written about how violent video games push kids to crime. After the Sept. 11 attack, I saw an article who also blamed violent video games because apparently the author believes that the gamers are reluctant to go to war because in games such as Quake and Unreal Tournament you always end up loosing at least one game.

    Now for the shocking part. Please keep in mind that governments don't take their own decisions. Their decisions are based on what most of the voters want and what the pressure groups wants. In my experience, only 10% of the population is really against censorship. I thought that most slashdotters were against censorship to, but I got surprised when they were encouraging the government to stop WinXP from being published. Stop being hypocrites.

    Easier to use than windows
    I would like to believe you, but I tried macs and have had a hard time learning how the whole thing works. Even Linux was easier to learn than Mac OS.

    Does it have a GeForce3? Do I have a choice of extensive hardware?

    Unix based, as stable and reliable as linux
    Then why did they move back to Netscape-Enterprise/3.6 SP3 on Solaris?
