xxx Lady: How do I reinstall Windows ?
Tech Support: You need to use the Windows CD
xxx Lady: Oh I don't have it, some friend installed it for me.
Tech Support: No problem, we'll FedEx you a Win CD asap.

See, Tech Support really isn't that hard.

I do the same with complicated customers problems. I work in a helpdesk, I would say 98% of the problems we get are easy to solve but for the remaining 2% I look for the answers in the newsgroups and always find an answer. Customers think I'm a genius, but I simply use the newsgroups :)

More traditional fields, the porn industry have been here since humans exist. Besides, who would seriously quit working in porn and work somewhere else? Oh I imagine myself saying : "Hey I'm making too much money in this porn stuff, I better quit and get another job so I can live poorly."

Ironic that Yahoo is still selling gun magazines, we should complain. Ironic also that it was defending it's right for free speech by selling Nazi items. Suddenly, to hell with free speech they banned porn because of a few complaints. Yahoo will bite the dust, actually it's biting the dust right now.

  11. Calm down and learn how to read on Windows XP to Target MP3 Files · · Score: 1

Folks, calm down please. MS is only limiting MP3 recording in the Windows Media Player software. You can get any MP3 recording software like MusicMatch or something else and still record good quality MP3's. Besides, by changing a registry key in WinXP you will be able to record MP3's at higher rate than 56kpbs. Also Windows Media Player will play all the MP3 music you record, no matter what their quality is. So, their's nothing to it. I too was mad, but after reading a few articles I realised that WinXP will not block access to MP3's, they're just removing the MP3 recording feature from their Window Media Player. So what? We've got tons of MP3 making software on the net.

So you're telling me that MS, a big business company is trying to get money out of other big business companies who often have questionable practices and think that they can get software for free. I have nothing against that action, why should we be be the only ones who get screwed? At least most of those big companies deserved it.

well hey here in Canada, lots of parents get about 2-3 years in prison for killing their own little kids. Their's just too many cases like that.
Kids usually get 20 years in prison, more recently a 12 year old kid got a life sentence for killing his siter or his neighbour. I don't remember the details.

  20. Re:Social-eco backgounds on Are Kids Turning Your Kids Into Killers? · · Score: 1

I believe it's a more profound problem. Even rich kids aren't that stupid to think that their will be no consequences to their act.
The fact is, upper class kids probably have almost everything they want, from toys, to computers, etc. On the other hand, they often lack their parents affection and have no idea what the true values of life are. They feel that something is lacking but they have no idea what it is, this leads them to do some crazy stuff.

I had no choice but to defend myself, hell I even thought I would enjoy beating the hell out of them but I didn't enjoy it that much especially when they started crying. That's when I got scared of what I did and ran back to school.
I think bullies need help, most of them have serious problems with their parents.
