At the start. You know that if it ever got in place the politicians would find other things to add to the list of forbidden websites like online gambling, child porn, etc. I'm sure that he'd find himself on one of those lists soon enough along with the rest of the population.
No, as you walk by the line you say that you can't believe something about the movie that sounds like a spoiler so everyone thinks that you've ruined the movie for them but what you mentioned doesn't actually happen or is the opposite.
Wait until TPP comes into effect. Someone could get a copyright infringement ruling in one country for content hosted in another country in which it doesn't violate copyright and still have the content provider take down the material.
Rightscorp works for BMG to look for people who infringe on the copyright by making it available for download. It would be kind of silly to sue the company that you've hired. It is the act of making the files available that is the infringement. Even if you buy a CD it doesn't give you the rights to make it available for anyone and everyone to download.
Something that would be very neat is when an actor gets older one could have them play a role but use video of them when they were younger to overlay. Actors could go for younger roles or you wouldn't need different actors to play the younger role. Of course it only works for actors who have been working for a long time. Image Arnold being able to play in a new Terminator movie but looking like he did in the second movie. Since it's the same actor you wouldn't have to worry about different mannerisms or facial expressions or the rights to the actor's image. It'd just be a copyright issue for using part of one video in another.
The problem with this is that some actors are very good at expressing themselves non-verbally. Replacing them with another actor and putting a skin over the new actor doesn't capture those expressions so you lose what makes the original actor special.
I'd add that knowing how to find out things and an enjoyment of knowledge. Not just how to Google, though I know a number of people that have problems expressing themselves in order to find out what they want. There are so many ways to gain knowledge other than going to school or reading books. And being able to learn for yourself self reliance becomes so much easier. You can learn new recipes or how to do your own home improvements.
I've worked with enough developers, and fixed their mistakes, to know that while getting all of these people writing scripts is going to be a pain the real problem (and cost to society) is bad developers. I was on the maintenance team at a government department that had a development group with about 10 people. The best person had to rewrite a C app, which they had originally created, into Java. When we got the app for testing, we also did the admin work for the production apps, it was missing a major feature which he forgot about. The head designer of the group claimed that having a content management system generating an HTML page every time it was requested was a much simpler design than generating it once when the content changes and pushing it to a web server. This despite the page would be exactly the same in both cases and the later case would serve pages faster with less resources. Of course this is the group that thought that serving graphics from a application server was a good idea and to transfer images from one site to another put them into an Oracle database and replicated that.
Or you put a picture up and you are wearing something similar to a designer outfit, enough to confuse an algorithm at least. You get a take down notice.
How about you take a vacation picture in a hotel lobby and post it online but it gets taken down because the chairs are designer made and you needed a license?
It works so well that Australia has had something like four Prime Ministers in the last five years. Plus I wouldn't count the number of bills passed as how well the government is working. Why does the government need to be passing so many bills? When you are passing that many the members don't have a change to properly investigate and debate them before voting. (I know I'm being optimistic but I do think that's their job.) By pushing through so many pieces of legislation the government becomes less accountable for bills that filter out websites, erode ecological protections, and take away personal freedoms.
One of the problems we've had in Canada was not the number of bills but the previous Conservative government using omnibus bills for the budget which packed in everything they wanted to get passed. In one of them they put in a Copyright extension to 70 years for certain recordings.
The government shouldn't be passing a ton of bills. There should be a smaller number of well-crafted, single issue bills that get debated and voted on based on what is needed (not in a knee-jerk reaction).
That's if you are using the difference in light to detect the planets but there are other ways. If you use the wobble of the star caused by the pull of the gravity by the planet you don't have to wait for three rotations of the planet. It also allows you to examine star systems that have an orbital plane shared with Earth. If we look "down" on the system we would never see a planet move in front of the star but we would see the star move.
It's not the fault of the dog. It can't express it's desires in any other way. The owner hasn't trained it properly so it is just doing what it's natural instincts are telling it to do. To poison the dog is completely unfair to the dog as it hasn't done anything wrong. The fault is entirely with the owner. If they trained the dog properly and paid attention to the dog then it wouldn't be making a whole lot of noise to annoy the neighbourhood.
And if anything happens to the child the parents have access to the PlayStation so they can give the police access to it without a warrant in order to see who the child was talking to. You don't need to put back doors into encryption for this.
It's not that the designs are shitty. They are just meeting the requirements they are given. And as planes have gotten more advanced they have required more maintenance between flights. Also much of the maintenance that is being done is preventative. During a war much of it could be put off.
In Ontario you haven't been able to get a rotary phone line for ages. They only let you keep it and if you move you have to give up the line and move to touch tone. In fact they used to charge you an extra $3 a month for the touch tone line. Don't know if that's true any more since I got rid of my land line a few years ago.
By 2024 the first modules of the ISS will be closing in to their expected end of life. While they won't immediately fail it does mean that the chances of seals or equipment failing start to rise past acceptable tolerances.
I would like to see replacement modules created and sent up. Any salvageable equipment from the old module should be saved and installed in the new module to help reduce costs (mostly those to lift it to orbit). However it seems unlikely to happen as budgets are small and interests from all space agencies are on other goals.
When did NASA get back into the supply stuff? Since the shuttle was put out to pasture they've been dependant on other countries (and now private companies) to supply the ISS and on Russia to ferry people. Having NASA saying that they are getting out of the supply stuff is like the telephone companies saying they are getting out of the rotary phone business.
Somehow I doubt that. The number of people recruited from Europe and North America are somewhere between 100 and 150. Yes, they are getting many more from the Middle East but that's from a combination of factors. One is the recent history of the intervention by the Western nations. Another is that many people join ISIS when they take over an area because it's better than being killed.
I was just wondering what would have people posting with their real names (assuming they put them in their profile) done to prevent your daughter from being a victim. Or are you just trying to reduce the pain after the fact. The simple thing is don't read the comments because there's going to be idiots on there.
There are always going to be some people in society that will make improper comments. The Internet just makes it easier for their comments to be heard. These real name policies do nothing to stop the trolls because they don't verify the names.
How does a firewall on your home network stop me from accessing any site on my cell phone if I visit you?
No matter what they do to try and stop phones from being smuggled in some will get in. There will always be some that get through. There are a large number of people that work for a prison and someone will have a bad time or be corruptible. With proper procedures and double checks you can get this down to a small number but there will always be a small amount of contraband getting through.
Changing the firewall settings won't do anything because they are on a different network. The need to suppress the cell network inside the prison and only within the prison. Guards, other employees, and visitors won't like it.
Unfortunately it's a symptom of having only enough money put into the system to house and punish those found guilty and not rehabilitate them. We keep them completely shut out of society with no preparation on how to re-integrate and then just shove them out the door with a few dollars in their pocket. Can you imagine trying to catch up on all of the changes in society if you have been away for a decade or two? I'm not suggesting that they don't deserve jail time but I think we need to do a way better job in our treatment of convicts.
First of all you are talking about doing this to a large part of two countries. Ignoring the morality it's not exactly feasible.
Now to bring the morality back you are a fucking psychopath. There are hundreds of thousands if not millions of innocent people in the towns and cities that have been captured by ISIS and you would be murdering them. You would go down in history as one of the great mass murderers only to be outdone by the likes of Stalin and Mao (I won't go with the other obvious one). You would easily have Assad and Bush beat out for most deaths caused by a leader in this century.
At the start. You know that if it ever got in place the politicians would find other things to add to the list of forbidden websites like online gambling, child porn, etc. I'm sure that he'd find himself on one of those lists soon enough along with the rest of the population.
You're advocating healthcare to the masses? Sounds like socialism to me and you should be locked up!
No, as you walk by the line you say that you can't believe something about the movie that sounds like a spoiler so everyone thinks that you've ruined the movie for them but what you mentioned doesn't actually happen or is the opposite.

Rugby is pretty good for action. I really like how they have the mic on the referee. I wish more sports, especially soccer, would do that.
