    not really, the common denominator here is excel, I seriously cant expect to send a odf file and have some random person open it in excel (or word for documents etc) I use open office, I spread it around my workplace like candy, but at end end of it all the files get defaulted to save in MS format cause that is what everyone else uses, and I cant really soapbox to a customer who is using something that works fine in their minds

    Agree, though I was going to suggest links2 which does both text and text + images, I often use it when I am on my workbench machine and I usually work from the CLI

    as I just got done stating to another person who thinks this lawsuit involves them at all, it does not involve you, they do not owe you a single word about a lawsuit that you are not involved in no matter how much you want to bitch and whine

    if your interested in it, go look it up, and go spectate it in court, but dont be suprised when you start running your mouth if the judge doesnt remove you just the same.

    If they do not want to talk about it, its their right, you however have no rights in it other than an interested spectator

    I have a couple points

    1) while I do not agree with NCLB, I find it very interesting that all the states have to do is opt out and promise to keep trying harder, and keep a better paper trail. Now if this actually worked in the first place our education system would not be a chunk of shit in the first place. Holding states accountable is a joke and we have proof, so this whole song and dance was just a glorious waste of time.

    2) please watch some daytime PBS, its poor mans nick jr today, and while some shows may be edcucational, its probably going to go out the window cause after 1pm its all cartoons until evening

    yes its not really a ground breaking idea, and even those crappy touchpads on laptops years before apple started doing it supported "multitouch" 1 finger for left click, 2 for right or 2 in the special places to scroll around ... first saw those back when apple was still sending out trackballs on their lappies

    Now just because they found a new gimmick for that idea they feel the need to own it, no matter who invented it.
