    Net 10 does something similar here in the States, you buy a card it last for 3 months or until you use all the time on it... when I had one for my wife it cost us like 7 dollars every 90 days, though its probably more expensive now, its been at least 5 years since we used it

    Agreed

    I work with fitting stuff into custom plastics and we hardly use it, our demand is so low we just shoot it off to one of the local copy / print shops around town that have a SLA machine the 3 times a year its required

    stopped using it, frankly it wasnt even that grand of a program to begin with, just easy to remember heh so fuck-em, bout the same time I stopped downloading anything from sourceforge

    which made the II far more expandable and flexible running factories banks and your home office, and frankly I never saw an atari (in that day and age) that wasn't a video game console with a unused keyboard, hell I didnt even know they made a disk drive for the things until I was in middle school in the early 90's

    I was watching an old computer chronicles from 1994 CES special where they featured a vr helmet (smaller than the rift too) and mentioned 2 others, so you see how far VR has come, its gotten larger, more expensive, and still hasn't left CES in 21 years in any meaningful way

    the stuff I have seen is over an inch cubed, has powered and liquid detergent in it and a nearly buletproof jel coat bag around it, its a bit of a stretch and more like an excuse for irresponsible parents not locking their cabinets from their unsupervised toddlers

    two different worlds

    Cortex's are execlent brains but lack any muscle and require lots of glue to the outside world, the old 8 bit AVR's are pretty dumb but makes strong glue
