    not that its any point of data, but yea I have a 40 meg scsi maxtor still running in my old mac and in my entire life of seagates, maxtors, connors, and fujutisu's I only had one seagate fail (500 gig)

    on the other hand, every single WD I have bought has died within a year or two, from 120 meg to 160 gig, and while they may have some really nice server grade stuff, their consumer or even power user stuff is absolute garbage.

    oh Ill take that back I have a 2 gig WD scsi drive, still alive, day I bought it, it was loud and slow, its not getting any quieter, its so loud, even for a old scsi drive, I dont even want to use it, so maybe that is why its not shit itself yet

    I use winamp for two things, mod music and shoutcast

    mod music cause open MPT is a decent editor, but I sometimes just want a player, shoutcast cause their web player is junk and crashes all the time

    both cause I like the graphic EQ

    I was in a hurry, that is why I checked from newegg, they left them out, I sent an email, no response, 3 months later a china box shows up with 2 vga cables in it

    that order was a handfull of accessories totaling almost a grand (know how many USB hubs and wifi cards that is) and the vga cables were "eh while I am here grab them"

    if newegg stopped trying to be a ghetto amazon so I dont have to waste time filtering down to just newegg. But it doesnt matter, the last 3 orders I have bought from them were screwed up, and it took nearly 3 months to get some VGA cables, so fuck-em anyway I dont have the time or patience for their crap anymore

    not only does it cost more, it doesnt last as long

    you can stock up on preprocessed crap that will last years vs fresh organic stuff that rots in 3 days even in a fridge

    the few months I was unemployed but made too much for food stamps on my sub minimum wage unemployment, do you think I bought 5$ bags of spinich that would not last a week or 50 cent cans of soup, some of which are still perfectly good now 4 years later?

    I own a 2006 (during their rennesance of making "quality" cars) kia, its a worthless pile of shit, at only 60k miles with regular scheduled maintenance it runs worse than the Ford I used to have with 197k miles on it. Its been in the shop 4 times in the last year over the same thing, that replacement parts magically dont fix, causing it to backfire (which btw is not covered by their worthless warranty) .

    At 20k its coil packs went out leaving me an hour from the dealership with 2 operational cylinders, the stupid ventilation fan stopped working at 30 something thousand miles, unless you kick the glove box. The engine ticks, and the timing belt needs to be replaced.

    If Kia is in your list of things not to mock then friend your arument is lost on me.
