People want stuff that works, but they also want stuff that doesnt suck so having the latest zippy, or the biggest gb is very much a part of product appeal (apple gets that, dont know why IT guy doesnt)

the cooler master heatsink with the AMD sticker placed on it that came with my FX cpu would hit speeds of slightly over 6000 RPM, with a ~60 mm fan
