when it comes to controls pc beats all, i got a 5 dollar 2-ps2-to-usb converter, you can have touch screens,joysticks, racing wheels etc.(even for wiimote but it probaly not the best support) for cheaper and if the game doesnt support it? easy 3rd party software,(still looking for a joystick to abs pos mouse, but only for one pc only game thats very strange) custom button configs, for everything
you forgot how much xboxs brake, rather then something you probably could fix your self on a pc, you are sending it back to mircosoft (if its in warranty) with slow shipping both ways

4 year of open source programing, or even personal indie programing is a better deal, less predictable (if it can be considered at all) but much cheaper
well first u write a script to compile their program and give it inputs (telling them before hand which order/files the inputs are in) record the amount of time it took for them to turn it in and how quickly the code ran for the ones that did it correctly, take the top 100 or so(in a score of finished time * code running time) and go from there
i can think of a really good reason for cellphone, schools are run by technophobs or what ever and cant compete w/ my usual stimulation during my free time. if u allow them to ban tech they will get very far behind and google will be a better teacher then the best teacher in the best school in short order; as the class size grows the less actual time the student gets help from the teacher and the curriculum will get even more dumbed down, add tech and you help the problem quite a bit
i think you mean "i am not saying this is LAWFUL OR NOT, only the way it is." reality and the law have a chance being close but right and wrong have no place when talking about reality; and only idealists(like myself) try to being right and wrong into a debate on law, expect it to be listened to, over a dollar or a piece of cheese on a toothpick from anyone else
"Students are encouraged to interact in US Schools" how long has it been since u've been to school? 40-50 students cant be encouraged to interact and stay on task at the same time

i have one complant w/ apple and the rest is fine they make good hardware and software but... even the best kept walled garden cant touch the beauty of a forest and apple didnt let a forest grow, and remains nearly barren

i think u would have to patch every hole in the walls, and make the doors airtight, and would be slow
