for my undergrad degree i wrote a simple demo using affine transformations on a sprite. I am pleased to see it working just fine on the DS from an EZFA cart.
It is always nice to have it loaded up and having some one ask how i got my face on the screen:)
interesting how exploits are rampant on PC games and it is now crossing over to console games. Ah the joys of playing with only yourself. no one gets hurt and never accused of cheating.
since i do work there, it is interesting how much information they divulge at meetings. I am also allowed into their server rooms, which i don't think i (or anyone without proper securtiy clearance) should be allowed in since there should be some physical security to the boxes. It humors me to see the servers. In a hot room with box fans on the servers to keep them from overheating. VERY INEFFICIENT. There is no A/C in the room where the servers are at my location and sometimes the store pretty much shuts down due to them overheating. Back to the subject, it does sound like an inside job. I don't know what the security is like at the home office (Bentonville , AR) but if it is anything like the store i work it, it is pathetic.
If you can drive a car to the top then what is the big deal? Also what is the deal with getting to the top, it is only 6288 feet. Where I currently live the elevation is approx 7500 feet and i am in a valley. (info I climbed Mt. Blanca (14,345 ft) a few weeks ago and i must say, it would be newsworthy if i saw a segway up there. The road up to como lake (around 10,000ft) is one of the hardest in the nation with few vehicles being able to get up to the lake (aside from ATV's, which still have problems)
RAM right now varies from PC-133 (133Mhz) up do DDR400 (200Mhz DDR effectively 400Mhz) where as VRAM on most cards with 128meg of VRAM range from 600Mhz-700Mhz. So would there be a bottleneck accessing this VRAM from the AGP bus as opposed to RAM from the FSB? (I believe the AGP runs at 66Mhz still?)
