I am so freaking sick of private companies who believe the only way to protect their profits is to legislate against other organisations threatening their market share. And I'm sick of governments and courts indulging them. Take it as an opportunity to better your services and provide something that CBC (or whoever you're whining about) doesn't - there are hundreds of ideas out there. You may actually surprise yourself and become more successful than you ever imagined.
Seriously, how are Facebook and Apple threatening the freedom of the internet? Sure, I'm restricted if I'm using Facebook or Apple technologies, but there are literally thousands of places I can post and do whatever I want. The internet is a very big place.
Also, the other day I tried to sign up for a second Google+ account but it didn't like the names I was choosing because it didn't consider them "real" names. Seems a bit rich to be accusing others of limiting freedom.
Lie and tell them what they want to hear. If they ever discover the truth you have one up on them anyway since they shouldn't have asked you in the first place. But personally I would reconsider working for a place that wanted to know these things. It does not bode well.
So many questions, but the first of them all is "why would I now buy a Samsung TV"? I mean, I think they make a pretty decent TV, but they're not good enough to invite all of Samsung and its affiliates into my living room. What am I getting out the exchange here?
The other day I was driving to return a DVD and I crashed my car into a lamp post because the cops were chasing me. I quickly jumped out and ran to the nearest car and pulled the guy out of it. After beating him to death with a club and stealing his money I returned my DVD to the store. Without video games I may have never had the inspiration I needed in order to avoid a costly late fee on my DVD.
The quantity of time and energy these guys spend suing each other is staggering. It is sad to see other parts of the world (Australia) following the US example in this field rather than learning from it.
That's a very naive view. Your privacy remains intact until one day one of your friends or business contacts accidentally or deliberately forwards on a private email. Once that happens good luck getting it back. It happens every day.
...was bullshit. That can't be right. Then I RTFA. Holy shit! Way to go London - bring that Orwellian dream to life!
I think that might be enough meth for one day.

Well said sir.

And he's running back into the outfield looking around for the ball. He makes a final desperate grab and... whoosh... it goes sailing over his head.
What do you mean you don't have one?

From the article: "An onboard stabilization system keeps it oriented during flight to improve the view from the video uplink and to control landings."
Meh. 23 years ago I saw a one hour 3D demo and it totally blew my mind. To this day I have not seen anything which has improved upon that experience.
I can't decide if I hope it all goes well because of Terminator and Aliens, or if it's a complete failure because of Titanic and Avatar.
Ha hahaha ha ha! So true.
You must be a high quality programmer.
A contrived negative Apple comment. Who would have thought?
Maybe you could buy a different brand? Or is that too easy?

It will be good to finally get back to the moon. Can't wait to find out in what ways it's changed since the last time we visited.
I wasn't pointing it out. I was asking because I don't know. Dickhead.
Is there any compensation that has to be applied to fossils which are over 200 million years old? Such as erosion etc?

That is SOOOOOOOO wrong I think I might go blind.
Yes. Of all the cheetah robots which can run at 18mph, this one is definitely the worst.
Jeez give them a break.
Looks like you may need to pay a quick visit to... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irony
