I think the idea is that if everyone participates in this "movement" then law enforcement won't be able to willy nilly break down our doors and start throwing people in jail.
I can't wait til this becomes a nationwide practice so that all civilians can feel safe knowing that the terrorists and criminals are being actively monitored and will never ever harm us again.
"Herndon, Va.-based Xceedium counts numerous federal agencies among its customers, and Ammon said, 'We have customers that are prohibited from purchasing anything until they get an approved budget.'"
What a horrible thing to have happen! Getting an approved budget before you purchase something? What is our government putting its poor employees through!
Same with Germany and Australia. I could take bus and train anywhere and everywhere without the stress of driving, listen to my ipod, take a nap, not have to think about driving while being much faster.
That's great, can we get that budget approved for high speed trains too while we're at it? I'm sick of having a horrid public transportation infrastructure. And highways are so 1950s...new please!
I hope many more government agencies being following redesign, their sites are hurtful even with my contacts out.
When I went to the current fcc.gov page it was "wow..." the "beta" site looks at least current and willingly viewable. Certainly won't hurt their abandonment rate!
And yes I get the whole "don't judge a site by it's css" which is cute and all, but bad usability is just laziness. And design is certainly part of usability.
This just keeps getting better and better!
I wonder if anyone at Oracle realizes how they're continually mangling their image? I didn't ask if they care, simply if they realize it.
Let me guess he had a lot of child pornography as well as an Outlook contact list chock full of marihuana suppliers?
Finally we'll see how the war on terror, child pornography and drugs mesh together!
I worked at KMART for a time when I was freshly graduated from school (BS Computer Science) and was unable to find any work.
3rd shift ate lunch together every night, but we were all still working at KMART.
Although this idea is more geared towards office/professional work just wanted to throw that experience out there.

That and wireless will be everywhere!
I'd be interested to see how well prepared our (USA) infrastructure is.
Let me guess...
Your opinion. Let's be clear on that.
Don't associate Texas with the USA.
The "cradle of life" was apparently the same place that language originated?!
Astounding!
Africa gave us life and language, and now look at her =(
I'd indeed pay more for native World of Warcraft.
Oh how I find this quite amusing. (Snapshot from when I was at the payment page)

It's nice that the FCC finally had its balls drop and started taking some advances in a (what I consider to be) better direction.
Now if we can only get Congress to stop screwing everything up by voting on issues they have no idea about that'd be amazing.
That and a more radical president.

In this case I was thinking more like "reisen macht frei", but I like the reference.

That's what I want in America.

I'd be up for having an international form of identification (card) if it meant I can work wherever I want.
And I forgot to format my response which doesn't make it very usable...

Just because no one watches CSPAN doesn't mean that we shouldn't be able to watch you talk through other media outlets.
We call them "queen bees".
I'd venture a guess that a lot of the secretaries are on coupon websites. Downloading and allowing god knows what to run.
LEAVE THE MUSIC INDUSTRY ALONE!!!!
This drama is better than any of the movies released this year thusfar!
Maybe this will finally get people to protest against the monopolistic ways we keep allowing.
