    really? My issue with it would be how do you tell who it's on when there are places tracing and pumping out the same tattoo stencils on thousands of people.

    When ever this subject comes up it makes me think of the same thing. What would a gender neutral world actually be like? Everyone wearing the same style clothing, no gender specific colors, hairstyles, etc... You would have trouble telling someones gender until they started to grow facial hair or develop other gender characteristics. Some wouldn't develop those characteristics until their mid twenties if at all while others would in their early teens.

    No grown ups make decision like I do. I don't own a firearm because the cost of a safe to properly store one is more than I'm willing to pay for something I probably will never have a real need for. Although I do know people who live outside the city who do have them and have used them when rabid coyotes have gotten into their trash, barns, and go after their animals.

    If you take a look at that list you will find a lot of those appear to be gang, alcohol, or drug related. Why pretend that guns are the problem when people will still find a way especially if there is money involved.

    The closet thing I own to a firearm is a staple gun, so not trying to enhance my member.

    When people take something and blow it out of proportion to make a point suddenly people are believing there is a war zone full of gun crazies running around, which just isn't the case. There isn't even really that many gun related gang deaths.

    I'm sorry, what is it? According to the CDC influenza and pneumonia are a bigger killer than guns and nearly half of gun deaths are suicide. What mass shootings are you talking about the few that hit national news and are talked about over and over for decades, that one at the high school in Colorado happened 16 years ago?

  8. Indie label also provide booking, promotion, and merchandise supply chains for artists but their contracts are not as all inclusive and the services are more limited than big name label's. My brother is in a band on an indie they got distribution and promotion for their album {commercial and college radio play} but nothing else they work with various booking and promotion services for live events and have a separate supply chain for merchandise.

    This still goes on and every self important one of them has and calls my cell number as apposed to tier I or a self service option because after a five day countdown reminding them it's time to change their password they just let it expire anyway.

    if all you do is play some local festivals, events, bars, etc.. have a few t-shirts and a home studio recording you can even be loved locally but you are not the person I'm referring to.

    I'm talking about the guys that write songs, record albums, do or commission cover art, merchandise designs, promotional art, music videos, have supply chains, promoters, and administrative overhead, tour for months at a time, do crap music blog interviews, internet radio shows, college and commercial radio shows, magazine interviews.

    They are on that list of things I wish I hadn't thrown out along with an unopened millennium falcon model I tossed when I went off to college. The alpha beta and unlimited editions appear to be fetching some good prices if you happen to have a hoard of them you could make out like a bandit.

    Records are usually sold as a collectors item they can be very expensive to have cut, my brother is trying to find a good supplier that isn't going to break the bank.

    That would be the part you didn't understand, music isn't a hobby for a recording artist. What you have are indie artists putting in full time hours plus working a regular full time job, sometimes their regular job is related to music but most of them just have regular jobs. They travel and sometimes a show doesn't even cover their costs even though there are 1k people attending.

    My brother is in an indie band that played rockfest kc this year {about 55k people attended} and toped at 41 on cmj chart. The money is in merchandising not digital sales or live events {although a lot of merch is sold at live events}. They sound successful but honestly can't afford to quit their day jobs.

    Canadian Grocers aren't going to call their customers thieves for going somewhere else to get something they are not providing they are going to see it as an opportunity to expand their business and get those products for their customers.

    The problem is companies that want to regulate and make deals to lock customers into regional services and pricing that do not provide what the customer wants and then criminalize doing business elsewhere in order to protect their bottom line.

    The metric system is simple, easy to use and has been adopted by most of countries we do business with. As it is now, I currently have two sets of tools to work on my car, mower, etc... Having one set of tools based on a single measurement system used on all things would be an advantage.

    I disagree a president should be aware of the metric system, even if switching is not a priority.

  24. I was driving to Denver once and I choose to go late at night to avoid the heat and any traffic. I ended up almost running out of gas in western kansas because although there were towns here and there none of them had gas stations open after 10PM.

    Facebook is a company that provides it's services free of charge so that it can get a bunch of customers in one place to make money off of them they are not a government or nonprofit organization intent on providing a free means for you to get your free speech heard. The right to freedom of speech is not the same as a free microphone which in this case is very much what they are saying facebook must be.
