I would say west Texas is about the last place you would want to have car trouble.
Last time I was in Texas I was going to six flags it was in the 80s and it was mid-july I think it was hot even for Texas that year and the tar on the roads was melted and sticky it ruined a pair of shoes and took forever to get off the car.
It's a common practice in the area I live and I have heard both really good stuff and horror stories about erosion and poor landscaping causing water damage. I have a regular house on a hill and am needing a retaining wall because the neighbor recently changed their landscaping and now my garage floods.
Apparently you have never been to Kansas the eastern quarter of the state has the flint hills, Kansas City, the state capitol, state colleges, and the majority of the population, the other 3 quarters is flat, sparsely populated, and the most boring drive you will ever take just like in the movies.
I really like the sound of tube amps and speaker cabinets made of actual wood as apposed to regurgitated fiber board. $325 isn't the price of one speaker cab.
It's kansas so tornado is the most likely and as far as flooding it is at the top of a hill well above any flood plains. I have seriously considered not underground but a house built into a hill but I wasn't sure about erosion.
An attic fan with a nice controller - won't live without one of these now - we can go for most of spring without A/C by just using the fan.
attic fans are made to dissipate heat from the attic space by blowing out the hot air and sucking in the air from soffit vents it should be sealed off from the house's living spaces if the change is that dramatic in the spring and fall then chances are that through out the rest of the year it is working against your central heat and air and costing you extra money and possibly damaging your roof.
There is a house in my area that is almost completely under ground it has an above ground entrance that looks like a big concrete igloo and a concrete slab. I bet their heating and cooling bills are almost non-existent.
I modified a fm transmitter for a walkman and a fm radio kit to connect and use the power from my peavy distortion pedal to make a guitar remote. I was 14 or 15 when I did that.
I made a remote lock for my bedroom door and a do not disturb sign with an led out of old rc car parts, a broken 8 track player, and random bits I found in my Dad's garage I was maybe 12 that would have been early 80s.
When I was in college we modified a tampon dispenser with parts from a straw dispenser and other random stuff from an out of business gas station to dispense cigarettes for 10 cents, a pack of smokes was $1.09 back then.
My favorite is when the PM has had the project for two and a half months before they bring it to you and now it's due in two weeks but is at least four weeks worth of work. Everyone goes the extra mile to make up for the PM procrastinating and get it done on time but the PM still get's credit for a doing a great job.
It depends what you are talking about... My brother in law used that same saying "It's better to ask for forgiveness then for permission." when it came building an oversized deck on his house, then a privacy fence, and some other remodeling all requiring a permit. It didn't work out for him.
You forgot that if they detect that the ads are being blocked they don't have to supply the service there are already sites that do this. If their services are good enough they may be able to provide a paid ad free experience and just not provide ad supported services to those with adblockers.
Presidents don't pass legislation on their own it has to go through the house and senate and unless they have the support of both, they either compromise to get legislation passed and make a small accomplishment or throw out a bunch of legislation that goes nowhere and accomplishes nothing. This is how we get presidents that promise big then deliver on little if any of their promises.
I used to work at a convenience store when I was in college. People would walk in and shop lift right on camera and never notice even though there was a sign on the door and the camera was in plain site with a monitor hanging from the ceiling that showed what it was recording. I doubt a camera will cause them to be distracted.
I rarely go to malls or cd stores anymore but I was at the mall with my teenage son not to long ago. The local hot topic has game, movie, and pop culture t-shirts and hats all displayed at the front of the store and as you go farther from the front door the content becomes more adult until you reach a door that says "you must be 18 to enter".

It's not really new tech but a heated driveway, patio, and stairs which would be great for me since I get a lot of snow and ice.

A friend bought an old VW Bus in the 80s we went on a weekend camping trip and painted all kinds of stuff on it.

wrong question. It should be.. How do you make it cost effective enough for power companies to use it?
Doesn't gigafactory make you think of Lexx?
You must be the soul of the party
I didn't think atheists believed in souls...
No the one that annoys me is Scientology, the name makes you think they would believe only in provable science but... it's misleading

go to task scheduler library/Microsoft/windows/setup/gwx disable the tasks then end the process gwx.exe.
As for the original article Bill Nye the Science Guy is the CEO so...
Uber already left my state because they were told they had to meet some piddly insurance and a couple other inconsequential requirements.
Bill Nye the Science Guy is their CEO so...
It's just a copy/paste from TFA which is apparently targeted at someone with no technical knowledge what so ever.

The Hot Topic here has mostly game, movie, pop culture t-shirts and hats, similarly themed novelties, and an adult section in the back.
