I personally believe that interns should be paid {maybe not the same as a regular employee} and that they should get hands on experience while interning. Which means they will need to do the work but in a supervised manner with someone who can educate them. This would benefit both the company and the student. The company gets a cut rate on some work and the student gets real experience.
I don't think the PC is dying, I do however think that you can't expect sustained increase in sales on an electronics item that is expected to last 3-5 years you will eventually reach a saturation point and your sells will level out.
to properly set a bridge and truss rod you have to check the open string and 12th fret this is called setting intonation and shouldn't need to be done when tuning the guitar. If the intonation is off then the interval between frets is not even E to E is no longer an octave. The problem is that some bridges come with finger screws for this (they adjust the string length between the bridge and nut) and the sales people call them tuners when selling the guitar to a beginner. You shouldn't have to set the intonation more than once a year so long as the guitar doesn't experience large altitude and humidity changes remember most of them are still made of wood. So take the nut lock off throw it away and stop trying to tune with the bridge screws.
I'm not a PC Gamer, and am stuck on windows. I need to use it so that I can be familiar with every bug, every fix, and every funny thing it does in order to support the mass of end users at work. My computer usage is basically one big UAT that never ends.
I find it interesting that iFone starting adapting solutions in 1998 the same time as the first release of iPhone by InfoGear. Wasn't this about the same time that anything that normally would not but now could access the internet was getting an "i" before the name just to denote that it was internet capable?
I used to play concentration with just regular playing cards I'm not sure how old I was when I started but I started my sons at three . If you could find something like that it might be good for a three year old, but expecting the game to hold their interest with out someone else playing with them.... forget it.
80s Chevy Cavaliers get excellent gas mileage with cheap easy to find parts. I had an 84 that I picked up in the early 90s and drove until about 2004 as far as I know the only work ever done to it was regular maintenance. When the windshield was shattered in a hailstorm I purchased a new car and let it go to the junkyard. Wish I had kept it and replaced the windshield.
Your post kind of reminds me of a guy I work with that claimed it would take three months to develop a "select all" on a html page full of check boxes. I'm under the impression that he didn't feel like it and didn't realize that I already knew it wasn't rocket surgery.
Automobile are a significant part of our society and most people know how to put gas in them, check the coolant, oil, transmission fluid, and have a basic understanding of how gas is ignited to make the engine run. It does not take a mechanic to change a tire, battery, alternator, fan belt, or spark plugs everyday people do it all the time. Automobiles are a bad example, almost everyone I know has one, can do regular maintenance, replace broken parts and none of them are mechanics.
How about a microwave almost every one I know has one and if anything goes wrong I know no one that would try to fix a microwave even though they are somewhat expensive.
I used to teach home schooling for elementary aged students with developmental challenges but never actually college level. Using technology in teaching was never something that was thrust on us, interacting and giving the students the personal attention they needed was our number one goal. If you have the opportunity to try something like that try it but don't expect good pay.
Technology is awesome, but teaching is an art form no matter what the discipline. It involves interacting with people and helping them to develop and learn. If a teacher is not interacting directly with the student then they are doing that student a disservice. Management software is great for holding grades, averaging, and printing reports, but it doesn't tell me which student studied four hours to get the same grade as a student that studied one hour. That information can be found in their eyes and their voices when you interact with them.
I understand the term medical catastrophe. The medical costs I am currently trying to pay off even after insurance payed their portion could cover mortgage, taxes, insurance, upkeep on a very nice 4 bed 2 bath 2 car garage home.
My last year of college (applied music) there were 5 people left in the program others had dropped or changed majors. On one of our finals one person aced it with a perfect score and the rest of the class did so poorly that even with what the college considered a standard curve half flunked the final.
and if it's just a cell phone and they have to actually talk to you they are less likely to call you for something that can wait but they will email 400 times for something silly.
When your speed dips that low do you have packet loss or just really high latency. If you can show you are experiencing packet loss they may be more inclined to help.
I'm just saying saying if the media made a huge week long ordeal for every accidental death from carbon monoxide poisoning people would be converting to electric stoves, water heaters, heaters, mowers....

I've had three cars totaled while parked by texters. Parking on the street stinks, I am so glad I moved out of that neighborhood and have a driveway.
Well I tend to disagree. Every car I have had totaled in the last 20 years was caused by another driver texting or drunk. mostly texting.

The internet age kids are doing the same thing we have been doing for centuries. They are attempting to express themselves in a new way.
There was butcher shop that sold hats with the same slogan in my home town.
What is the difference between proper and common grammar?
It could be considered criminal threat in the US depending on the context.

Why am I seeing a guy eating a triple quarter pounder, large fry, and a mega jug of soda popping lipitor like it's M&Ms
