DVD support is in the geforce4 MX BUT NOT in the TI. That is because the MX card is targetted at the value segment, where there might be lower CPU MHZ counts, and the TI is targetted at the high end. And at the high end there is ENOUGH MHZ to do dvd decoding in software. Software here again....

If you really want to help this why not add a bonus cd that contains all the mp3's and a videoclip that plays on PC/DVD. CD's are cheap to produce! 2. Provide previews of a cd on a web site. mp3.com wants to get the mp3 on the web for you 3. Why not just stick to the standard? Your 5 year old ripping software is the best when offered standard cd's.

Cheap drives cut corners on motors, bearings, and well-engineered cases. So cool fast drives cost more money than cool slow drives or hot fast drives.
That is kind of a troll. This is done in almost all product. Thay are made as efficient as possible. And even expensive scisi drives fail. Thay are sometimes just the same as the cheap drive with the added scsi interface, and the price tag added.

Damn, I know i had this coming on /. A second after posting it i realized there was a 0.xx where xx =12 version of linux.
To correct this I will try to damage my monitor by slamming my head into it.
