"and T'ealc, a member of a genetically engineered warrior race who serve the Goa'uld"

But I agree that the characters should get their own articles. I mean they could have at least mentioned WHAT that genetically engineered warrior race was called.
Flamebait is a post that could spark a flamewar, ie a post that is deliberately grating to a certain group of people (for example "Apple is the worst company ever and all the people who buy Apple products are Steve Job zealots" (yeah I suck at flaming). In this example, the people being "flamed" are the people who buy Apple products, since it's a direct attack on their character. Another example would be "All people who run Linux never shower and have greasy beards".
Yes, it is possible. I myself have two facebook accounts (one is a dummy account for a social experiment that I never use anymore, but it's still "active"). And how many people make facebook accounts for their pets? Not every account on facebook has to be a real person. If every person in the world opened three accounts then Facebook would have 32 billion accounts (unlikely, but not impossible).
Does the FCC regulate the major media producers? Aren't they charged with regulating the content DELIVERERS? Or do the main media producers deliver their own content to consumers? Seems to me like the FCC would be dealing with Dish Network, DirectTV, Comcast, ect, rather then the major media conglomerates that actually produce the content.
Unless one of these is a laptop with mobile broadband service, you still can't listen to Internet radio in a car or bus.
That's really no longer an issue for many people. Smartphones can easily access internet radio streams, and are much more portable then laptops (note I said many people, not all. I am aware that a lot of people don't have smartphones still).
Well I think you might be a little wrong there. They don't have the power legally, but they certainly have the power. It's a fine line, one that is becoming fuzzy.
Well look at the alternative, if they had improvised something and it had failed, they would have been taking all the heat for the disaster. Of course if they had succeeded they would have been heroes but I'm sure that wasn't what they were thinking about.
Plus it's likely the movie companies won't let them. That's why Netflix isn't available on many Android devices-they can't get a secure enough DRM to satisfy their partners.
President Obama's campaign was (AFAIK) entirely grassroots, all money raised from donations by citizens. At least I think that's what GP was talking about.

Put it in your sig ;)
Hmmm actually that's a really good point :D
i-devices don't seem to drop in price like everything else in the tech world, they just gain in performance.
But wouldn't a gain in performance be a reason for no drop in price? (Forgive me if that was your point in the first place)

If you consider those recreational then you must be a lot of fun at parties :D
Ya know I bet the pope HAS read origin of the species, if nothing else so that he can form better arguments against it.

But it makes 80 people's lives, and mine, an iota better.
Without making anyone else's worse. And that, I feel, is the important distinction.
Obligatory xkcd:

about 2/3rds of the user base (anyone with a UID over 1 million) as a high schooler without a clue
My UID is almost 2 million, you insensitive clod! And I haven't been in highschool for almost 7 years.
Then we need to lace its upper atmosphere with o2 before igniting.

Both.

we've only had about 4 melt down... so roughly 1%
4% melt down
How did you get from 1% to 4%?
distribution != transfer. Allowing someone to distribute a copyrighted work does not mean the copyright is transferred to them.
there is a stripped down 'developer preview' that I have used
The "stripped down" part is probably why it is so much faster at everything.
I stand corrected.
Well according to GP you should stop making girly excuses and move to NYC...

A year later someone figures out how to crowdsource it :D (actually it probably won't even take that long)
President Obama's campaign was (AFAIK) entirely grassroots, all money raised from donations by citizens. At least I think that's what GP was talking about.
And I doubt he'll manage to do it again.
