On that basis, like most christians, I think discrimination against gays is a good thing.
I'm a Christian and I think you're a fucking dickhead. Do you really think Jesus, who spent his life preaching the Good News to prostitutes and tax collectors, would have endorsed discrimination against anyone? Did the man who gave the Sermon on the Mount ever promote hateful behavior of any kind?
Sure, Paul was a bigot. But he wasn't the Messiah.
A neutral stance on an anti-discrimination bill may not be bigoted if the company had never thought of it before. But if the company changes its position from in favor to neutral, understanding that this might kill the bill, this is clearly a bigoted position.
There is no excuse for discrimination against gays. Microsoft of all companies should know that.
And I don't see how this is remotely new. Apple has had Sherlock since OS 8, and Find File since well before that. Microsoft has had the Find command on the Start menu since Windows 95. Where's the beef?
There's a difference between imposing a gag order on parties to the legal action and blocking members of the public from speaking about what they witness. In the US, the latter would be an unconstitutional prior restraint on speech, not to mention completely impossible to enforce.
Of course the seller "forgets." The seller gets the float on the money until the rebate finally arrives.
This is also why rebates are now offered as prepaid Visa cards. The cash stays in the company's account until the moment you spend it - and if you forget, well, they keep it!
People forget, miss the deadline, etc. Non-return of rebates is critical to the business model. Best Buy just decieded that the dollar value of the customer annoyance was greater than the rebate non-returns.
No, I just believe in freedom and equal rights. Why do you hate freedom?
Very good point. I will listen to the fundamentalists when they follow a kosher diet. But I don't see Lou Sheldon et al. laying off the BBQ.

You're justifying behavior of any kind based on that of the Bush administration?! You truly are nuts.

A ... spyware ... affiliate perhaps?

Don't they have, like, a War on Terror to support or something?
Trusted Computing?

I'm sorry, some guy who writes reviews, even ostensibly fair ones, in exchange for free product can't stand up to this.
Optium s Prime has died of prostate cancer. Perhaps our Autobot heroes will wear blue ribbons for him.
Let's hope he doesn't keep his contact list and amateur pr0n synced à la Paris Hilton.
Not anymore. It moved to Washington, DC.

Politely, of course.
How quaint.

Following the links, it turns out TOTO has in fact already made such a thing. Not surprising.
And TOTO, not Apple, would make it. (They still might.)
