    This is just Hillary taking a cue from her husband and slamming some easy target in the culture wars so those Soccer Moms who wrap their kids in cellophane so they don't get any exposure to the outside world ever will make her their swing vote.

    Evil as it is, it's vastly less bad than the GOP, which if it had its way would allow the mob to rule over basic principles like separation of powers and the authority of the courts to enforce the law.

    Biometrics are great until someone figures out how to spoof them. Replacing a compromised retina scan is mighty difficult, however.

    I use AIM on iChat and have never been presented with AOL TOS.

    Not to say I trust it at all. I don't. (BTW, where the fuck is encrypted iChat, Apple?!)

    Remember that Mozilla was based on the old Netscape 4.x suite, which included Editor, Mail, Address Book, and Collabra (!) as well as Navigator. Firefox is a response to the users who just wanted a browser since they use Outlook or something else for mail.

    I also use Mozilla (not suite, just Mozilla) for Mac and prefer it to Firefox and Safari, mainly because it's customizable.

    Hmm... might be a problem for banks, landlords, and other lenders who need to check your credit history.

    No, it wouldn't. If they want to check mmy credit history, I get a call or email from Experian or whoever and give them my approval. Takes five minutes.

    But if NigerianBankAndSpamFactory.Net wants to check my credit history, no dice.
