If you regularly buy large amounts of H then there should be actual legal ways they could use to catch you in commission of that crime without stealing someone's identity and tricking you into trying to buy drugs from them, which is entrapment.
The ends DO NOT justify the means. If you cannot trust the police to follow the law, then no one should be expected to follow it.

The police have the right to catch or pursue someone during the commission or planning of a criminal act, but do not have the right to coax or coerce a criminal act for the sole purpose of arresting them. That would be like a cop riding your ass honking his horn and turning on his lights on the freeway until you speed up passed the speed limit then immediately pulling you over for speeding.
They've never taken kindly to joking at the airport, but it wasn't until relatively recently that you'd be dragged off, finger fucked, and arrested for doing so. That's really the difference.

Make the police do the job they were hired to do like everyone else. No cutting corners. Period.

The authorities should not have a right to go on a fishing expedition and hope they find something incriminating. If they need evidence they need to obtain it legally, that is what they are supposed to do because that is the law. If they need to break the law to enforce the law, doesn't that just tell you how silly it is to begin with?
When it comes to the point that the authorities cannot follow their own rules to enforce them then where does the line between good guy and bad guy lay? I mean if we as a society condone using bad guys to catch bad guys then why bother with the whole charade to begin with?
Landsat images are used by a variety of government agencies for things like flood hazard mapping and water usage analysis. High resolution Landsat images can help the forest service determine where to search for search and rescue or mete out prescribed burns. The actual value of these images is pretty important and yes it can help augment our understanding of mountainous topography. That is pretty much what is so special about it since the old landsat satellite was recently retired and the new images we're getting are so much better than the last ones.
