    A judge recently ruled, in a cop abuse case, that the victim had every right to shoot the cop, since the victim's life was in mortal danger. And the judge would have found the victim "not guilty" by reason of self-defense.

    They were recently scolded by a Judge, for trying to imprison a group of supposed "terrorists" who were really just a rifle club:

    "The prosecution is not free to roam at large â" to shift its theory of criminality so as to take advantage of each passing vicissitude of the trial,â Judge Victoria Roberts said. âoeIf the government now admits that the plan alleged in Count 1 of the indictment (seditious conspiracy) did not exist, then defendants must be acquitted," Roberts wrote in her 28-page ruling. "The governmentâ(TM)s case is built largely of circumstantial evidence. While this evidence could certainly lead a rational fact finder to conclude that âsomething fishyâ(TM) was going on, it does not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that defendants reached a concrete agreement to forcibly oppose the U.S. government."

    Comcast's move to "uncap" its own video business gives it an unfair competitive advantage against other streaming services (amazon, netflix, hulu) that are limited to ~250 GB per month. It discourages me from buying those products and buying Comcast's product instead (because it's unlimited).

    So it violates net neutrality. AND it is also a violation of Antitrust (antimonopoly) laws, and I figure it's only a matter of time until Comcast gets sued by these companies & by State general attornies.

    BTW cable tv isn't any ordinary business. It's striclty regulated due to its monopoly status. For example the FCC has "must carry" which requires them to provide all the local channels (otherwise they might opt not to). And the CSPAN channels. Local governments also add other requirements, such as carriage of the state legislature's sessions and community channels (to air high school sports and such).

    I can't believe this was ever an issue. Recording events as they happen, whether it's with a video, audio, or the old-fashioned pen-and-paper method, is a protected right under the first amendment of both the U.S. and most State Constitutions.

    You have a natural right to children except in cases of emergency. Imagine some future hell where 1/2 billion Americans are fighting over food, water, energy (the oil wells are running dry). The two parents and one kid get the government handouts/rations and kids 2 & 3 get none, because there's not enough to support them. (It's as if the other kids don't exist in the government's eyes.) Sorry but that's the way the future will likely unfold. Guess you should have obeyed the 1 child per couple policy.

    Technically, no. You could just dump it directly into a diesel engine. Of course we usually separate-out the lighter fuels (kerosine, gasoline) from heavier fuels (highway diesel, freightship diesel, plastics) but that isn't any big deal. You lose very little energy in that process...... not compared to how much energy is lost cracking water to make H2 and O2.

    I doubt the solar roof would provide enough energy. I've met EV drivers with solar roofs, and they say they only have enough energy for their homes... not for their cars. The same would be true for hydrogen production for cars.

    And the Federalists were never truly federalists (they wanted all power centralized). And Jefferson's Democrats were never really democratic (they wanted rule of law by the Constitution, especially the 10th, not simple majority). U.S. party names have never had connection to the true goals of the party.

    Nor any other country (Germany's National Socialists were dictatorial). Though the UKIP seems clear in their goals (independence party wants independence).

    So are fuel cells and high-pressure tanks (potentially explosive), so you've solved nothing with your fuel cell car. Plus you'll be wasting a ton of energy converting water into hydrogen. A plant-fuel-powered car would be more energy efficient.

    What part of solar-powered homes did you not comprehend? You don't need to replace 85 million oil barrels..... only the amount that cars burn which only 1/10th that amount. There's enough corn, soybean, sugar, etc oil to do that.

Simply limiting each couple to one baby each IS modest compared to the 2050 U.S. devolving into an India (millions of people living in tentslums). I think THAT is far more cruel, and I can't believe you would choose such a future. You must be a real ass.

    This is no different than acting in self-defense if someone comes at you with a knife & you shoot them..... except not that extreme. They shouldn't have described damaged good as "new" or "like new". They shouldn't have broken the law and oversold a ticket at more than it's worth.

    The scammer deserves to be scammed out of his item for his attempted fraud/theft of my money. (Actually I'd say he deserves to be jailed, but I'm not a cop. I can't exercise that power.)
