    Try the documentation here.

AFAIK, it follows the W3C DOM that other apps use, and the SDK actually documents which properties and methods are extensions of the DOM. I've been working in XML for a couple months, and of the extensions to the standard DOM, the only one MS appears not to have is the ability to rename an element, because nodeName property of elements is write once/read only.

Exactly what kind of extension do you expect to find in an API? Embedding a small Easter Egg into a multimegabyte application is one thing, but bloating an API is another. Am I supposed to believe that xmlElement.generateHype() is supposed to return "Linux sucks!" or what?

It's also durable enough to handle a cup of coffee, and if you spill something on it, you can just rinse it with water. As far as mousepads go, it's the last one you'll ever buy. I have actually ordered two, but that's just because I wanted one at work, too :)

Instead of going on about it, I'll throw you a link to the main site. You can buy them there, or find links to other distributors (mainly overclocking/cooling stores like 2CoolTek or Plycon).

Most people don't have a choice of telephone company, cable company, electric company, water company, and tash collector. They like to complain about the high rates and low quality of service as if they had something to compare to. It makes public image a really difficult thing for Verizon (and PacBell, Time Warner Cable - can't wait for AOL too, et al), so they're easy targets to pick on.

Putting that disadvantage aside, and maybe even giving them the benefit of a doubt, they STILL suck.

Britney Spears, N'Sync, and everyone else that will be on the FOX Teen Choice Awards tonight are proof that there is something wrong. That's completely untrue. I live in Minneapolis, and I have a HUGE variety of DSL choices (Time Warner doesn't have Internet ready cable yet).

You can get DSL service from the Incumbent LEC (Local Exchange Carrier), USWest... erm, Qwest, as well as from Competitive LEC's such as Covad NorthPoint, or Rhythms.

Separately, you have a choice of ISP. IMO, there are only two choices. VISI has really good deals on multiple static IP's, but can't compete with Onvoy performance wise, because the former uses expensive Qwest (got it right that time) DSL, while the latter uses Covad.

Of course, there are dozens of different ISP options. Some are overpriced, some offer better speed, some offer better features... it's truly a competitive market out there.
