  2. The smartest people know to stay away from Science on Why Is US Grad School Mainly Non-US Students? · · Score: 1

I'm a PhD life scientist. None of my colleagues are Americans. Heck, at conferences people automatically assume that I'm a sales rep, not a scientist. The really bright Americans know that they will never be able to buy a home with a scientist's pay. They would rather divide wealth rather than build it, because it is easier and more profitable to do so.

Best Buy hates their customers...a lot. I tried to use a gift card online, and they cancelled the order, cancelled the gift card, and won't issue me a new card or send me a check! I encourage all of you to visit their competitors.

Before humans can engage in a microgravity trip of the duration required to visit and return from Mars, we will need a vastly better understanding of bone and mineral metabolism and also be able to alter it substantially. Astronauts lose too much of their skeleton in extended periods of microgravity to make it possible for them to survive on earth upon their return...and that is with the constant exercise and bisphosphonates during the trip.

The marketing campaign has worked successfully on American women. You're screwed. You must suck up all your ethical concerns and buy the thing. It will cost just as much to try to reprogram any one woman of the propaganda that DeBeers has plagued our world with.
