    Yes, but Jon Mandel has no idea how anime got into the 'mainstream'. See GAINAX studio's "Otaku no Video", for example. It's obvious that in this case it's the other way around from what he says, i.e., that the 'nerds' liked it first.

    Just to back MsGeek up a little here -

    I was there that night and I can honestly say the concern and shock everyone was expressing was genuine. A couple people even had to leave the channel because they couldn't take it.

    If you're looking for "responsibility and stewardship," look no further.

    For all math classes, calculators are useless, and are actually prohibited in any undergraduate university math class I've been in.
    Really? Hmm. My Linear Algebra teacher allowed simple calculators, (+-×÷, mostly) mainly so we didn't waste time on tests multiplying three digit numbers or whatever.
