No, I just realised I should just avoid paying for a device that pretend to be able to do it : The keyword was simplicity : I want music and reminders.
I personally had a Zaurus SL5500 which suffered from stupid autonomy problems as well as a poor ergonomy and a lack of decent performance (try to edit a decently sized Excel sheet in his spreadsheet). So, I swapped it for a read-only PDA : An iPod, that is. I think people now either get a smartphone or an iPod for such needs.
You already give them your fingerprints at the customs, so I guess they exactly know where you are at every moment you buy something... Now, if they want to arrest you, they will remove all your priveleges remotely so that next time you want to buy something you'll be retained by the caissier until the police comes. </tinfoil>
a bunch of pre-compiled GNU software in pkgadd format, I'm assuming, same as Solaris 8 and 9
I rememebr that Solaris 9 used to come with both Gnome and KDE. The problem though is that these were not quite stable on an Ultra60 3D WS, I hope this got better because there's nothing as unconfortable as their CDE GUI.
In.CH, the connection rate is 50% (this has been statistically verified), so, that makes 3.5 million people which is around 0.5% of the World population.
And I am sure, there is even more elsewhere, thus exploding your puny 1% estimation !:)
That depends on what you listened to : Doc Starrduck is indeed very immature in itself, but the interest of GNUArt is that anybody could change it the way they like... Better to improve than to slander, isn't it ? On the other hand, Matthieu Metzger is a sax pro and I am not sure a decent fellow would even dare calling his virtuosity the way you did, especially when you take a look to his resume. Yes, he's played in many Top50 songs and most French pro refer to him the French Coltrane. There are loads of professional hidden in these 421 songs, it's like a box of chocolate, you know ?:)
TiVo was invented for people to busy to be able to attend complete tv shows. Now,if they cannot afford to watch these, how come they have enough time to program it ?
In this case, I am sure somebody would sure develop a cheaper, better engine. You cannot have to pay to access features you always had for free (13 years ago,Yahoo had a classification and 10 years ago Altavista was the fastest and most accurate engine around). Now, Google is the best but as the title says : it's "stil" so it WILL change and it's normal. You don't want a behemoth to stay for ever and you don't want to be financially tied to even the best of all...
First p3n1s !
