  1. Re:I'm gettin Celeron II on AMD Ends Overclocking On Durons · · Score: 1

Wow, are you kidding? about a dual Celeron system beating a Duron? Mostly depends on what your running. If your talking about games, not that many games run well on Win2K or Linux, also most games dont utilize both processors so the Duron would win out Clockwise and just plain performance wise.

  2. Re:Who would want to overclock Durons? on AMD Ends Overclocking On Durons · · Score: 1

Apparently you dont know much about computer chips, or never bothered to look into the Duron, In most cases it preforms at about 90% of Tbird. So in that regard its closer to the Tbird than the Celeron is to the Pentium. Besides people/gamers have been using and O/Cing the Celeron for a while, so now they move on to the next chip the Duron. Besides for being a "inexpensive" chip people are willing to do more riskier things on it than they would for thier $500 GHz Tbird.

I bought my self a nice big addtronics case, and figured that I will for the forseeable future be able to upgrade my computer knowing that my case will mostlikely be the one constant and now Intel wants to go and change that, well screw them. Actually I like my AMD Duron 700, but plan to upgrade to a 1.5GHz Tbird and a DDR ram motherboard come January.

I think that most of these protestors dont really care about issues and are just "proffesional" protesters that just want to cause trouble at any venue possible, and just hide behind some sham cause. I wouldnt be surprised if a quite a few of the so called prostesters are going to be at both conventions.

I dont know how they would replace your brain or even be able to keep your conciousness, but wouldnt it be nifty to have a body that you could create anything with.
