    Even the 303 has the possibility. But let's face it, the 303's strength is that resonating filter. It's the filter!

    You go into any corporate software "design" or "requirements" meeting and over half the attendee's will contribute nothing but useless documentation or Microsoft Project files about the 2-3 folks who actually do the work.

    Process employs these losers. We need PROCESS!! And LOTS of IT.

    They buy the property in the flood plain and/or prohibit building in the flood plain. This is happening, today, on the Greenbrier River which is the longest free-flowing river in the east and also floods repeatedly.

    Of course, the government has no trouble buying some innocent West Virginian's property... but look what they do in North Carolina with the million dollar homes. They don't TOUCH these and let them rebuild after they are destroyed and *assist* them in getting flood insurance.

    So, in other words... if you're a developer who is lining some politicians pocket... you can continually rebuild... if you're some poor schmuck... forget it. Government owns you.

    They are now pumping up Web Services on the mainframe... but this is COBOL or C++. I think the JVM only runs on a Linux partition on the mainframe.

    One thing a *nix person never gets... they can run multiple OS's on a mainframe.

    C'mon... the Polymoog?!? Who in their right mind would buy a glorified organ when the Prophet-5 was available for the same price? Typical tale of small business owner who got caught up in the hype and innovation died. He milked the mini-moog for over 10 years and didn't have a true polyphonic sucessor until the Memorymoog... and it's tuning issues are legendary.

    His latest products rock! I have the MF-101 and 104 and they are truly a delight. Hope his sons further the business.
