    Well what would be the benifits of an 8bit system running a 500 mhz?
    Tube amps are:
    1. Heavy
    2. Produce alot of heat
    3. Energy hogs
    4. Never sounds the same from the first turn on
    5. Replacing tube each year can cost alot
    6. High levels of harmonic distortion

    Audiophile grade speakers are:
    1. Do not do a full range
    2. Cost to much
    3. Claims things that can not be claimed
    4. Design is in look, not in quality of sound
    5. Ports, lots of them to emulate fz
    6. Resonace is a bad thing

    But audiofiles like listening to these devices becuase they like the tone, even if it's not a true sound.

    Actually that would be using the same principal of the PZM (Presure Zone Mic). Wonderful for listening to low level noises!

    I have seen these before, along time ago. Damark used to sell them. The only problem with these are the walls. Ever try to make the wall move??? Pretty hard isn't it. I feel that this device is a great idea, but the quality will lack IMO.

    No I skimmed it. All I saw that stood out was the ability to turn off muscles with out destroying them. Which would be great in the cryogen feild.

    Well since Darwin is now opening their source, we could use that to help bennifit the distro, that is if we can orginize our resources well.

    I thought they were only going to be putting LiNUX on the servers? Becuase the support for the common home user is just not there in the way of software and tollerance.

    I have a couple of idea that I haven't seen much of in OS's that I think would be cool to implament.

    that /. should roll it's own distro. Think about what would come from that. We have freshmeat serving up some great file, some good programmers and a ton of hardware hackers on here. I think we could take the lead in the LiNUX distro race.

    Well the theory of Darwinism some what outline the evolution theory, so therefor the system would have to update it mach kernel. I'm sorry for thinking before I spoke, but do you think that any one is going to do an x86 port of it?

    I don't get why he's putting bench marks stats on the QIII exploit discussion. But the OS can help with diffrent exploits.

    It's some where in the 6,000 range if I remember correctly.. Or whas it 5 or 7 thousand.. Just look at the port on game spy.. That should give you the information.. Or you don't want to load that that, you can sniff what ports are open on your system and monitor the higher level ports. Best way would to be to trap a couple minutes of traffic on the port assigned for QIII and try to back asswards the data to find out what can be a potential exploit.
