If you're looking for a straight update of C++ ability and syntax, why not check out D developed by digital mars. It's based off of C++ compiler designs.
That's because 5yrs ago, no one knew what to expect yet, there was "no limit" thinking, tons of internet businesses were "popping up"....you had to think it would promote new thinking, new ideas.
true, perhaps even cancer could be found....but what could be released that others wouldn't already know? I mean, a lab isn't going to "open source" its funds just for a thousand people to look at their work.
I'm just saying that sometimes it's better for a single source of information you can easily follow and track their prooof at the end.
Even though I run gcdev.com and was part of the scene trying to produce this hack, I agree also.
However, our loader does as much as it can not to load dvd rips, it doesn't support that.
However, slashdot posted to the FRONT PAGE the ISO ripping news. But legit stuff, first they rejected my article and then posted this to a topic area and not the main page to balance the community.
No, what I think has the potential for mis-use is Slashdot promoting piracy news. We are striving to make our tools as homebrew and non-piracy as possible. That probably includes not releasing some news tools.
In my company, when you become a "full-time" employee, you have to sign a contract that states you as an exempt employee. This is due to odd government project regulations/etc, where no overtime is allowed because they don't want to figure out who should be charged the overtime fees.
If the government can dictate this style of work, what's to stop regular clients.
It seems to me, and correct me if I'm wrong, that a lot more europeans use ICQ than AIM. I know I don't use it much, but only because I don't talk to my friends in europe online as much.
i wasn't being sarcastic. my point is with yours:)
You cannot apply a double standard to these things, as you pointed out, it is up to whoever makes the programs, what they want to package into it...but there isn't one big "internet" solution.
As much as the problem with microsoft anti-stimulating the industry in some areas...and how they shouldn't be taking away form other systems to promote their own, argument.
Could it possibly also be GeCAD's responsibility to promote such a community and third-party systems? I mean, they are the ones who gave up on the community and sold out to microsoft.
Well, what I meant is, large companies shouldn't be able to lobby a committee of this kind any more than the regular person...so maybe a limited set of findings/papers each side can submit and then they decided....no extensions, no extended reports/special inteviews that the big companies can provide, and well, no special treatment for anything private either.
Well, what about limiting litigation and lobbying to a certain amount? I mean, patents should be about everyone having the same fair chance at finding/creating right?
Interesting page that show comparison of programs/formats/compatibilities(somewhat) and compression ability.
However, it might be old, so program versions might be off, but an interesting look to see if you really want to stick with a format or go to one that is or isn't just as good in "compression".
archives I'd really like to see a better, up-to-date one if anyone has it.
Haha, I hope you didn't take that as a negative comment. I was just wondering if you thought changes were neccessary for different missions:) I've never done a rocket flight before.
If this is just a standard stripped debian distro, then there is no patch/special RT linux version running. This seems to be a one-run, let it fly kind of setup.
Not something for extended type, geosyncronous/etc flights like someone else mentioned. I think you'll need something with a tad more precision and "predicability" for more intense missions.
I'm not saying you'll need to re-write something like lynxos or any other rt unix based system...but standard debian might not cut it?
I think it depends, you cannot exactly enforce companies have to meet federal standards for product deadlines. Then no one would know what's going on.
But perhaps companies should be held liable for failed features if they cause harm to the user company/user in certain ways if they release features that don't work as intended.
it didn't say Japan led.
Anyway, what about size vs number of busineses.
Cox alone services areas about the size of s. korea or so it seems.

True, but it's the same basis for all code run through it, is it not?

Everyone loves controversy.
It is "tight as a drum" in what they want it to do. We just exploited a feature they were using from a supposed secure location in their minds/code.
Well, as this is the only game out there that uses this stuff, how do you know that it isn't a feature and not a back-door?

I think there's a fine line between trying too hard to represent something and letting the audience grasp a meaning on their own.
I'm not sure how this is offtopic.
I was merely wondering what kind of cutscenes people would want to fill in the movie?
What do you think were the most glaring errors, that threw off the movie?
Are there any scenes/cuts that you think could create a cleaner picture of the plot/story?
Would it also be a good idea to bring some spare parts to make that possible? Just in case?

are they spam blockers either? spam senders?

Just a thought.

Perhaps, but that could get kind of cluttered with a large viewing area. You'd still have to setup some sort of download time.
I don't see the problem with genre associated channels with download a large set of movies at a given time.
